Ok I love how absolutely thick this episode was. He is trying so hard to be on his best behavior but like was so turned on by her enveloped in his soap. Poppy noticed that he was acting weird and yeah bitch. You wear the hell out of that space cadet sweater with the sexy nitey under it. He was so sexually frustrated that he couldn’t even wash dishes without flinching. But then the heartstrings were tugged when he mentioned joe. Why do I have a feeling he is legit about to start crying? Tora, yes honey let it out. Poppy can handle it I think. He is exposing himself emotionally more and more to her. I think this is going in such a healthy beautiful direction and I am here 👏for 👏 it👏 When they were in moonbright, he saw her world and she was exposing herself to him. What I really liked about this episode is how Poppy is so much more comfortable exploring the idea of being intimate with Tora. It's such a 180 from Julri and it really shows how much of an impact a partner can have on a person in so many small ways. Julri never made Poppy feel comfortable enough with day to day mundane things, or herself, to even consider sex with him. But Tora gives her all the credit and confidence and, most importantly, he makes her feel like she is attractive. Suddenly she is considering sexy time more naturally, and that having those feelings is a natural part of her, and she never had that before. It's not just about Tora, it's about her coming into her own and not flinching away from her own sexuality anymore, she is embracing it more than she realizes and it makes me happy to see someone who was so conservative due to insecurities realize is okay to feel those things. And with Tora she is safe to. So even though we don't know if she stuffed the nighty back in the bag or plans on wearing it, SHE BROUGHT IT! It's a big step. And that just made me smile warmly at her. I hope that makes sense lol

Okay, I have to say this: Lily, you draw clothing so damn well. Like, I can imagine the textures so clearly. I can imagine how they feel, how each layer would stretch or drape over each character. I’ve looked at other webtoons and sometimes I feel like the clothing/costumes are just stamped on top of a character. When Poppy is holding that nightie I can imagine the texturing. When Tora pulls on his shirt, I can guess that weight and feel of the cotton. Seriously, it’s impressive and I love that you somehow manage to make it look so balanced. Much respect. 💚

Merry Christmas! The sexual tension and the awkwardness, all the little details .. So we began to see more of Tora’s world, he’s surely not lazy as he lets people believe. I mean, the guy plans and cooks his whole week’s meals, no junk food, does house chores, tidies his space, watches National Geographic while eating and seems to develop quite an obsession over the animal kingdom. 6ft3 mass with the face of an angel, he exudes calm strength and primal sexual energy but is patient and respectful towards his crush O-o Pops you should never let him go!

But it's clearly something he likes, thinking that what his woman could become knows about the scent of her soap drives him crazy. For Tora, everything is new. He is afraid of doing something wrong and observes Poppy .... with tenderness and once again with respect ... after what she has suffered... he does not believe that she wants to have him near as a lover, but as a friend. Poppy is calmer… also then the vision of Tora's body. She is in his room (which Tora doesn't use, because as we know she sleeps on the floor) with her sexy night gown in her bag ... If POPPY wears it it will be a clear message for TORA. But there is still one thing missing ... in them telling each other who they are ... and it comes to the end when it comes to the guitar that Poppy believes to be Tora's as the ring and the bracelet: Grandma Alice's son. ... Okay, now that everything's finally settled down here at home, I did another read through and I have a few (well, maybe more than a few) observations. I mean, dang! There was so much going on there! I feel like right from the start, we're getting a way more intimate glimpse into the real Tora. Somehow, this side, with his plaid flannel shirt on the wall (any chance we can get a picture of the tiger in flannel? 😏 I mean, for science, of course...), clothes in the lockers (yeah, that was a surprise, for sure), and a fridge that is actually stocked with what looks like real food (thanks to who ever it was that pointed out that it looked like meal prep - I honestly didn't register that the first time, but it makes total sense now!)...well, let's just say it was refreshing, to say the least. Makes me wonder what other sides to him we have yet to see! Poor Poppy didn't stand a chance when he walked in, shirtless and looking like sin...go on, enjoy the view! You have way more restraint than the rest of us would have shown 😳. But I see you, with that sly little peek back to him, and the lil disappointed look when the shirt went on 😉 . You know, I bet if you ask real nicely...okay, nevermind, getting ahead of myself. 😂 And then, we get to finally see the bedroom! So much speculation into what it would actually look like...would there even be a bed??? But the reality was almost heartbreaking. Not only does it look like he never sleeps there (I mean, we kind of figured that), but it looks like he never even set foot in there. The whole apartment is clean and tidy, but at least in the other living spaces, there's SOME other objects present. Not a total void. Like it's not been a safe space? But if it was a real question of safety, then I don't think he'd let his hamster bunk there, so I think on some level, he may be aware that his aversion to sleeping in beds may have less to do with safety and more to do with past trauma. If that's true, maybe the path they're on may lead to some healing (likely for both of them) if they eventually end up there together. But I think my favorite parts of this episode were their interactions with each other. The scents of each other setting them off, the very domestic TV and dinner which was just too adorable, Tora's reaction to Poppy's kitchen entrance, and finally with the conversation about the guitar and Joe. (Side note: anyone else REALLY want him to play for her??) I feel like this conversation is moving in a sad direction, so I'm sure there's going to be some heavy emotions next week. But in the meantime, I'm going to go back and enjoy this sweet little series of interactions 😍😍😍

So it’s been 4 days since this episode dropped and I still have butterflies from it! When I read it or think about it, I just start giggling, like I’m the one acting like an awkward nerd in love. Like these two were during this. Or should I say Tora in particular. He was oozing all kinds of things that I just started feeling all fluttery and skittish. Like, why am I the one blushing? I’m just reading it! Either way it was deliciously awkward and hilarious. The sexual tension between these two is starting to drive me wild. I haven’t figured out if I’m OK with that or not yet. Ha! Poppy starts off by saying her nerves are fried from the day and a little from having to spend the night with him at his place. Putting myself in her place, I’d be warring with those feelings too. Though she preferred to be with him, still there’s a lot going unsaid between them. And I’ve almost forgotten about their closet tryst today! No wonder the tensions are high in this. I appreciated that we got a recap of her chat with Erdene too. Tapping in to another friend to ground her was a good idea. Even if she did put Poppy’s nerves on thinner ice with her panty ripping remark! I like the way she tried to reassure Poppy whilst not at the same time, pft pft! Her curiosity of what his place is like - I’d absolutely want to know too! As someone who craves order and tidiness, I’m grateful his man cave is tidy. I don’t necessarily think it's a throwback to how he was brought up under Vincent’s cruelty. But I like to naively believe he is just a tidy person. Compared to Poppy any-way. They balance each other in that regard. We’ve definitely missed a part of the conversation here between them. These curious minds - OK mine at least - want to know what Erdene said to her. Was it related to the danger she’s in? Something about what happened when she came back to the office after Tora abruptly and rudely left her? Guess I’ll be testing my not so great patience waiting to find out. Either way Erdene looks nervous… I adore blushing Poppy! She’s like a beacon as Tora has his back turned to her to find clothes! Ogle away, Pops, no shame here! He’s gotta know what he’s doing to her, surely? I mean, here’s about where my giddy butterflies started up. And I like that he’s modest! As we’ve seen in past episodes, he’s approached for how he looks. And yes we’ve seen him use it once to his advantage, it also can’t be all that fun considering how introverted he is. So here he is in all his tattoo’d glory around the girl he’s pretty beyond smitten with and bless his heart, the man’s on edge! I do love to see him squirm a little too. ‘Missing jacket. Missing jacket…’ I wonder if that Superman jacket comes up soon…the one never to be back in his possession ever again. Ever. “Oi.” Dude…that’s the best you’ve got? If Poppy wasn’t so distracted telling herself he’s not a piece of meat and wondering if she can nick another jacket - I know I would be! - I wonder if she’d have noticed that. Good effort trying to come across as not affected by all this, tiger. It’s really working… ‘Pfft, that was shirt-lived.’ Loved that pun! And that Poppy was disappointed he didn’t stay topless for longer. Brazen miss editor, I am here for it. I’m glad we got a view into Poppy’s thoughts though! She seems more relaxed than he is, for sure. And she’s aware he’s not himself. It’s a big thing having the person you really like in your space. Especially a space not hugely conducive to guests with how impersonal it is. Even the creak of the door makes it seem as though he rarely even goes into his room. Cue the tears knowing he feels safer sleeping on the floor. I’ll be fine in a minute! ‘...but maybe now's when I need a distraction the most…’ Careful Poppy, I’m all for doing whatever you need to combat the stress, I just don’t want to see either of them left more vulnerable than they already are. That short flashback to the intruder was a gut punch. Gah, back to the butterflies, please! Oh there they are! Cheeky little lacey nightie slipped into her things…Not only am I smirking at her subconsciously (there's a different word I want to use but I’ve spaced on it) packing some sexy neglicy, but the fact her thought bubble even had some blushing going on in it! Those little details rarely get missed by me and it really adds to a much more fun and emotive reading experience! And it IS super sexy nightwear. Maybe she put it on anyway, but covered it with the super cute jammies…mmhmm. I’m back to giggling and it feels sooooo good! Tora almost gets caught watching her for the sake of watching her. Poppy frets, she's switching channels too much…that blush on our tigers face…help me, these two are going to kill me off with their frustratingly cute behaviour! That little flashback to bumping into each other in the hall, reacting to how each other smells and then Tora doing the most hilarious thing of running away…I repeat, someone HELP ME! I am trying so hard to keep myself together but he’s just so bloody awkward and funny!! Good reminder tiger, she has been through a lot. But I love seeing that blush and heart racing you’ve got going on. It’s like you’ve never had a girl over before…Or maybe I’m closer to the truth than I like. Who knows. Haha, the Vogelkop is back! And Poppy is catching on that there’s more to this man than first appears. I like the head canon where Tora watches nature documentaries. It’s such a normal thing to do. It’s not as though he has many other things like that. LOOK AT HIM JUMP OUT OF HIS SKIN!! This tiny woman has him so on edge I am cackling!! Where was his mind for him to be surprised by her. Honestly the difference in him in this episode compared to his take charge and mantrum from the previous is startling and refreshing. Like I said, I love to watch him squirm, bahaha. Anyone else do a little zeroing in on his fridge? I will devour any and all small touches to his man cave, just to get a better sense of Tora. Does he prepare his meals in advance or is this a hefty dose of Alice love? Either way I think I spent too much time looking at it than I should have. I’ve really appreciated how Poppy has tried to be relaxed around him this episode. She’s sought him out for the beer, stayed by his side to engage him in conversation, she’s being open and inviting. And poor Tora is ramrod straight, avoiding looking at her as the subject of Joe comes up. I really felt the weight of that settle over him as he said he died in the line of duty. I think general theory consensus has been that Vincent somehow had a role to play in Joe’s death. Chances are pretty high. So it didn’t come as a big shock to me to read Tora say that. I think I always assumed he was on duty when it happened, but now I wonder if Tora was more inadvertently involved too. Not in killing Joe! But in that Joe made a choice for Tora - or someone else - that caught him in the crosshairs. I don’t know, we have so little information to go on surrounding that. Either way, I’m glad Joe has entered the story and Poppy will potentially find out just how important he was to Tora and in turn, the ring and bracelet she was holding previously. It was a bump back to earth after the sizzling sexual tension and dorky awarkedness. But I’ll take it if Tora is opening up a little more to Poppy. Also, just what is the time here? How are they still awake eating noodles at this time? Bloody hell I’d have been passed out long ago from the shock and adrenaline wearing off! Here they are watching documentaries and cracking open a beer at who knows what time! Maybe I’m just getting old, pft pft. Ahh, I’m going to remember this episode whenever I need some fuzzy feelings.
