He is really taking it to heart. Like his whole life is one punishment after another. And the word allegedly has turned into apparently! That’s huge! I can't wait till Tora opens up to Poppy more now. She does know a bit of his past; now, we can see more of Tora's past. Hopefully, we will find out how he landed that Mansion manor at the beach. We know he loves the beach, so this must definitely be his favorite place he's lived. I hope they get some one-on-one time to talk this out like they have so many times before. She does understand that he has tried to tell her many times on his own. Yes, she has a valid reason to be mad, but at the same time, she's realized there's always been something stopping him from telling her the whole truth. She's going to take a walk to calm down, hopefully so she and him can talk this out. Detective Lane is going to have a lot of questions for them both. Now, another whole week till we find out. So, I keep looking at this Compound Tora has. It does look like something that could be defensible. High walls, plenty of places to get a good view.....I have a feeling he’s got motion sensors and cameras all over the place. Fort Tiger Fury, Outpost 1 is nicely designed and practical. You know, I don't mind that Poppy gives Tora the silent treatment. He fucked up and he got away too easy with a lot of things regarding Poppy. Even when he tried to tell her at different times, he didn't and he deserves some silent treatment to reflect on this. I admit, when Poppy thought about how she saw Tora try, I was like: "don't sugarcoat the situation Poppy!!!" Also I didn't like the ' it's Tora's mansion, so start talking to him again ' from Quincey. Tora fucked up. He had a lot of chances not to, but he didn't, so stay down Tora boy, touch that grass and reflect on how your horny ass put someones life in danger!!! I really hope now that Poppy has some secret mafia connections or skills or so, because how will someone survive getting numbered or beeing on a clans radar, if not beeing someone from a mafia clan?!

first good morning all together! what a great episode. but it gives me something to think about. This palace (sorry! But what a cool hut Tora has gotten there! My goodness!) is mega. Does that mean she lives in his house... does that mean her new employer is there too? And I don't know if Poppy agrees with it . That she is his guest, so to speak. I really like that through all of this, quinceton knows about toras place- it show how tora actually cares for quince it not just a "your daddy forces me with you" kinda way---also lily in the large scope of things, are you able to tell us how far in the story we are (like percentage wise how close we are to the end)? Not saying i want it to end--in fact ill probably cry when that day comes but i was just curious, if you cant tell us thats fine too--love the way his house is designed btw, my grandma has a house in kyoto similar to this one but with much less modern features bc she hasn't renovated it since her family was young (ww2 era), i love your details it sometimes remind of home and then i get homesick lol great job with another episode lily 👏

I keep going back to eyeball this episode. I wonder how Tora is going to feel with Poppy in his home. My guess is the Narin city apartment is for appearances sake. This place is more of a home. Should be interesting. Also, I’m excited to see Lane again.....for the brief time we saw her early on, she seemed smart and observant. I wonder what she’s thinking now that she’s spotted Tora. I do wonder if Erdene and Jacob are safe. They are associated with both Gil and Poppy after all. Now more than ever, I want to know what Granny Fleur wanted to tell Poppy back in MoonBright.

I loved this episode for a lot of reasons. It feels like a new phase of mystery and intrigue. I have pre-angst for what's to come. I'm excited and a little afraid of what Lily is gonna do here lol. Also...honestly seeing my government name as the locale of the safe house was something. Kind of warmed my heart a bit before I thought of all the jokes that can come of it lol. Bring on the beachside high jinks and fun!

Each time I read this episode I feel like I get a different perspective on it each time. I always read it as soon as I’m awake, which usually means with one eye closed because I don’t even bother to put my glasses on and or with a two year old swiping the screen because I’m trying to tune her out for a few scant minutes. But I just don’t have the patience to wait until I’ve woken properly, such is the pull to this story! I appreciated the background and expansion on what clan neutral means and the repercussions of that. Which is why I am so intrigued by Tora buying a property there. But I’ll get to that part. I loved the ambience of this chapter, that end of day light casting a warm glow over everything. And it seemed Poppy was thawing very slightly towards Tora if her thoughts are anything to go by. I’m really intrigued to see more of Felicia Bay and that manor! Starting off with Quincey just casually talking about his sex life with only Tora listening made me laugh. Poppy had zero idea what was being said and her sitting there gloomily with her earphones in was such a mood! I almost wanted to hear Quincey finish the story because his storytelling is always fun. But it was a snap back to reality when Tora clutched that steering wheel that bit tighter. I’m not sure how to interpret that from him at the moment, whether it was just that he heard Poppy’s voice talking so nicely to Quincey, or something else. But I am feeling a smidge bad for him. A smidge. Moonbright is clan neutral…where this didn’t come as a huge surprise to me, I am starting to really question what Poppy meant by her ‘So am I,’ comment to Tora about being in the mafia. She reflects how it explains she heard so little about clans growing up, it already seems as though she was sheltered from certain things. But it's the perfect place to stay if you’re getting out of a clan…or hiding from one…So now I feel like I have more questions and I really want to know what her granny wanted to tell her. Has Poppy told her she’s leaving the city? Maybe we’ll find out soon. Another thing I’m very interested in - “Although…I’m not sure by whom…” WHOM INDEED!! Who is this mysterious person/people the clans fear the wrath of? I wasn’t expecting it but I won’t lie, this new information is both bloody exciting and worrying if your name is Tora. Side note, does Quincey just carry this fold out chair around with him or something? I laugh every time I see him just casually sitting there, a prince on his fold out throne. It’s a bit of lightheartedness needed. Although, that little chat he had with Poppy left me unnerved. Quincey’s expression is laser focus and unhappy expression tells of a world of upset if this goes south. And with how miserable Tora is looking right now, I wouldn’t want to be inside his head with everything that’s going on. Vincents pissed at him. Poppy isn’t talking to him. Clan knows ‘something’ about her. He’s on clan neutral territory with a covered clan symbol so could get into more trouble either way…the odds aren’t looking so hot for him right now and he’s really shutting down because of that. But I’ve gotten slightly off track. Quincey’s attempt to not make a big deal out of it, trying to steer the conversation towards concealers then the repercussions of all this was a valiant attempt, but Poppy is already ten steps ahead in panic mode for him. And I honestly don’t blame her. Her upset is coming from more than just because he wasn’t honest with her. There’s feelings there for her to be so hurt by all of this. “That handsome son of a gun will survive. As he always has. So relax. He’s got this.” Again, good try with the matchmaking there Q! Remind Poppy he’s handsome and she wants to jump his bones. Haha! He will survive as he always has…well that’s a reminder this man has been through some shit we can only imagine. On one hand I believe Quincey, Tora isn’t stupid he’s got to have thought of every possible scenario at this point, lest he drop his guard again and fuck it up. But at the same time…I’m still worried. Here comes the slight thawing from Poppy as she reflects on the last week and her friends all acting distant or more protective recently. “To be fair, I know he’s tried…” Has he, Poppy? I mean, I want you guys to talk again. But credit where credit is due, Tora fucked up. He had more than a few chances to tell her. But she’s looking for loopholes for him. Reasons to try and understand where it went wrong. I hope they sit and have a very honest all cards on the table discussion when they’re ready. She has every right to be angry, but also good for her trying to look past it so long as she tells him exactly how it made her feel. Like she’s done before. So now they’ve arrived at this insanely amazing place and my jaw dropped along with Poppy’s! I can't wait to see more as I already said. I’ve zoomed in lots to try and take in as much detail. And detailed it is; it’s stunning! So was the whole Quincey and Poppy sequence that came next. Was it a rugby injury Quincey or did you get the injury some other way…? I’m with Poppy! If Quincey is flabby then there’s no hope for me. Ha! Poppy girl, you gotta stop wiggling that amazing tush in peoples faces, you’re going to start causing heart attacks all over! I was surprised by Quincey’s blush - afterall, this is the man who was just explicitly talking about his sex life and writes smut for a living. So whether this blush was because he’s suddenly realised Poppy is a sexy little vixen, or he’s been caught watching her wiggle her tush, either way, I didn’t feel like there was any more to it. If anything he’s been trying to save Tora’s butt in Poppy’s eyes. His coughing fit made me laugh! So dramatic, Quincess! “Oh, please don’t!! It’s just a trivial little thing!!” He was caught checking you out, Pops. He does not need the sore Tiger walloping him upside the head again anytime soon, LOL! I can see why so many could look at that moment between them and see it in different ways. Personally I’m not boarding the Quincey/Poppy ship. So maybe I’m just looking for all the reasons I didn’t see it as anything more than innocent. Time will tell! “It isn’t the biggest, but it’s not too shabby.” Careful Quincey, your upbringing is showing darling! The shock that’s bouncing off Poppy as she follows after Quincey with the boxes about it not being his place was strong! I wonder if she already knew deep down it was Tora’s, or was just frightened that she would suddenly be with someone who she doesn’t know or trust. Either way Quincey suddenly seems to have realised Poppy’s about three seconds from losing it. With the way he worded it, “Well if you must know…” I wonder if Tora had any intention of telling Poppy it’s his. “So could you maaaybe consider exchanging a few words with - “ and Tora has exited stage right. Welp, he sure is burying his head in the sand! This is going from giving her space to flat out avoiding her now. This could be an uncomfortable few weeks if the silence between them goes on for much longer. Even if a very small part of me enjoys a little bit of angst. I also think the penny has just dropped at how distant it is between Tora and Poppy for Quincey. I can’t see him staying there the whole time too, but it’s going to be frosty if he has to play middle man between them. I did feel so defeated for Poppy too. Not only does this new information remind her there’s a lot about Tora she doesn’t know about, but he literally just closed the door on her. That hardly screams welcome to my little slice of life away from the clan, make yourself at home. Ugh, I take back what I said about enjoying it, I just want to sit them down and tell them to use their words, haha! So here’s what I’m very curious about…Lane must live around here as we see the snippet of her at the end. Is that because its clan neutral? Is that part of the reason Tora has a home there? I theorised a long time ago that maybe Lane and Joe were partners and Lane has progressed to detective since Joe passed. But maybe there’s a connection between Tora and Lane more than I first thought. I could totally be reaching here, but it can’t be coincidence that Tora has a home there too. And how does it work if it's in neutral territory and he’s part of a clan? I’m guessing that’s not allowed because he covers the neck tattoo up. So is this his long term hope for getting out of the clan? My brain won’t shut up. Are we going to get Poppy and Tora at the beach? God I hope so! I feel like if I read this again I would probably come up with a whole other perspective, but I’m sticking with this for now. It’s both a blessing and a curse to devour these chapters so fast! And the artwork for this one was beautiful, the colours and light were really soothing. Kudos and thank you, Lily for keeping us on our toes! <3

Hoooooooookey Imma start this one with violence. So disclaimer, the next emotional vomit is entirely mine, already spoke with my therapist @larosamorada and she wisely pointed to my triggered self inserted anger that most definitely do not reflect Poppy’s feelings. So this is me screaming at characters in defense of Poppy cause she’s too much of an angel. Last week I picked a bone with Dene and this week I picked the same bone 🦴 with Quincy. I need my A-team to STOP 👏🏼 TRYING 👏🏼 TO 👏🏼 EMOTIONALLY 👏🏼 MANIPULATE 👏🏼 MY GIRL 👏🏼 INTO GIVING 👏🏼 TIGERBOI 👏🏼 A BREAK 👏🏼. Do I love my cinnamon baguette? Of course. Does my black little heart constrict watching him in the doghouse? Absolutely. Do I find it delicious that he doesn’t know what to do with himself and it’s loosing his goddamn mind to jelousy and hurt? You bet your sweet ass that I most definitely Do. Does he deserve it? YES YES HE FUCKING DOES. Does she need to get in gear and forgive him cause hey he did all of this to keep you safe, don’t be so hard on the guy? Well, While we thank him for the sentiment. NO 👏🏼 SHE 👏🏼 FUCKING 👏🏼 DOESNT 👏🏼 She’s allowed to feel hurt and show it anyway she damn 👏🏼 well 👏🏼 pleases 👏🏼. No one,still at this point, no one has taken the time to put themselves in her shoes, how she feels and how all of this has uprooted the very essence of her life. Maybe if she had been talked to like the smart, sharp, feisty adult they all love to tell her she is, she might have felt validated in her feelings towards Gil. And they might have approached this in a more sensitive way . But no, they made decisions for her and now she’s the one that needs to adjust and take it sweet and dandy? Fuck them and the world. You give them all the silent treatment if that makes you feel good baby girl. I was particularly annoyed with Dene because while Quincy did the same just now “this is my friends house so maaaaaybeeee try talking to him” he still team Tora and is trying to come through for his bro. I get it. But Dene, girl Poppy is your friend First. So while I can understand her motives and I know she loves Poppy, I personally didn’t like that she was all “yikes sorry bro I tried to get her to not be so mad at you but i guess it didn’t work, thanks for the dream job!” . No ✋🏼 Poppy has shown time and time again that’s she actually very good at selfreflection. And I feel that this silent treatment while she acknowledges that she’s doing it to get the point across. I also feel that this is also her way of honoring her promise to him of being more mindful of giving backhanded jabs. Silence is not bad all the time. Silence can give you time to reflect, to think clearly when you get past anger, to organize your thoughts so when you do react, your feelings can be expressed clearly and understood. So yes I approve of the silent treatment and I would actually love if this time He is the one to reach out and open the communication. Because all this past times she had been the one to do so. And I think part of his emotional distress right now is actually coming into the realization that she is not giving him anything and he will need to actually be the one to make the first approach. Yes he apologized after Gudrun’s but she made the opening for it. So please A- Team cut my girl some slack and just let her BE angry in any form she requires….. for faks sake! Let get to the house, because that house is for me the BEST part of this chapter. It’s is own character and it said SO MUCH. This is a Sanctuary. I have no doubt in my mind this is the true inner Tora. The contrast is astounding, his apt in the city is a Cage. This is freedom THIS is HOME. And home is close to THE SEA. And home feels like an ODE to his ancestry. This is just MUAH! @Lilydusk if this is it’s just a goddamn house, let ME LIVE IN DENIAL. Don’t even tell me. Just let me live in this fantasy. I can’t wait get inside that house, inside that man ( pun TOTALLY INTENDED) I have so many other details that are just bursting that this will be a manifesto so Imma cut it here. But ugh god every week is just SO GOOD! Hurt me more mamadusk

So, maybe an unpopular opinion...but do you think that this might break the fragility of their non-relationship? Think about it. The trust that she was slowly building up with Tora came crashing down, he's kept her in the dark this whole time, along with everyone else. She's got no options but to go along with whatever Tora says. That's a toxic relationship. ☣️ Don't get me wrong, I'm building the Tora/Poppy ship 🚢 because they are endgame, but god dammit, this is unexcusable. I love Tora, and he's got a lot to show Poppy if he wants to build this trust back. Doghouse for 3 more chapters please! Then, FLOOF because this is a romance and I love them together. I wonder if Tora just purchased the mansion on his own, or maybe it's something that belonged to his actual family/parents? We know Ulaan is his [quite distant I guess] ancestor; the style of the building kinda ties to the Asuras bride story? :) Then again judging from what little has been said about his real parents they were probably not well off at all ..

Hey guys, I was re-reading the episodes today and a thought popped up in my mind after seeing Detective Lane with her kids at the end of the episode. (FYI, it's currently 3:30am so apologies if this theory sounds a little scrambled, I just want to get my ideas down before I forget about them come sun up 😅) Is it possible that Gyu and Lane are siblings (adopted or otherwise)? The reason this popped into my head is that Gyu mentions his sister and her kids in episode 34. He also mentions that said sister has been trying get a hold of Tora but he's avoiding her (likely not a romantic interest because Gyu also mentions that he has a brother-in-law) and who was calling Tora earlier in episode 18...Lane. She likely hasn't stopped trying to call him after that one time seeing as she had bumped up the urgency of Poppy's report. This also leads me to believe that Tora and Lane may be working together to bring down Vincent because what mafia member would have a detective in his phone contacts unless he was either working with them or said detective was dirty (I'm obviously leaning towards the former). Is it also possible that Gyu's debt to Tora has something to do with Lane? Both she and Joe are/were in law enforcement so they may have crossed paths or even had been friends. Did they both maybe get involved in a situation with the Balthuman clan that put them in danger and Tora was forced to protect one over the other and he chose to protect Lane? Anyway, let me know what you guys think or if maybe someone has already had a similar theory. As for me, I'm going to bed now

Didn't Tora hand Poppy his card when they first met? Well, maybe if she researched it she may have found out sooner who Tora was tied up with. Does she know Quincey is the boss' son? This is just too sad. Also, wasn't Tora kind of forced into the mafia?

im so confused how you all are like "oh yea and this-" about the episodes cause honestly i dont understand anything without the speech bubbles. I love the art but I have no idea what's going on in the episodes until they're uploaded to webtoon. is there something im missing? like is there supposed to be dialogue here
