Omg Tora's serious face! Who are you... not Poppy but Poppylan 🫣!? I can't wait to see what ghost mom has to say or if she is even going to give up willing info. I would have gave Gran a shot first. When he asked who she was...that next panel broke me. It felt like one of those movie scenes where the camera slowly backs out while focusing on one particular character. Poppy suddenly looked so small 🥺 (I mean, smaller than normal next to Mr. 6 foot and 3 inches 😏)...the look on her face seemed to me like a "shit, he knows...but what does he know...what do I do??" reaction. Ugh, my heart 💔...can't these two just catch a break? (Heh, j/k...secrets are coming out and I'm 💯 here for it, so BRING ON THE DRAMA 😈💖)

I’m thinking that poppy’s mom is affiliated with the mafia somehow and that’s why she left Poppy in Moonbright in a “clan neutral” city to keep her safe. Maybe she even left Poppy to keep her safe as well? Grannie June knows more than she’s letting on too. Eeeekkkk I can’t wait to find out what’s about to happen!!

I can see Poppy asking her Granny as some point in her past for her mother’s phone number for when she’s ready in her healing process to confront her mother for leaving her. I can see her very bullheadedly thinking “today’s the day I’m going to give her a piece of my mind!”. Then her anxiety catches up and makes her say “Tomorrow…tomorrow’s a better day”. And that’s why she already has her mom’s number saved in her phone.
