I talked to Twitch about changing the name of the my channel to illwillpress from the  currently, 'jimathers'. Not sure if folks have an opinion on it, but some input would be appreciated.

Not sure if a name change would help or hurt "brand" at this point. Though I'm sure most folks will be able to find me... hopefully? idk.

Your YouTube is "Ill Will Press". Your Design by Humans outlet is "Ill Will Press". I think it makes sense from a consistency standpoint to rename your Twitch - and for that matter your Patreon too - to that as well, so that people can search for the same term in multiple locations and find your stuff more easily.

biggest down side I'm seeing is it will make all the emote text longer.

Not entirely. The emotes can either stay the way they are, or change to IPWhappy IPWLove etc. Though the auto-read will still take more time reading it out loud even with that.

JiMathers is a solid name, but “Illwillpress” has legacy, name recognition, nostalgia, among a number of other branding lingo qualifiers.
