Hi, it’s been a while. I just came back because I feel I’m in a much better situation now. The reason for my disappearance was that, right when I thought I was at my best moment, after moving to the city to avoid problems with electricity, transformers, internet, etc., heavy rains and the poor infrastructure of the city and the place I moved to caused a “natural” disaster. A nearby river overflowed due to the rains, flooding the entire area where I live. We were left without electricity, internet, or drainage. My naive idea of being in a good position by living on the 6th floor of a humble building turned against me: I lost the use of the elevator, had to buy gallons of water not just to drink but for all basic needs, the substation in my area was knocked out leaving everyone without power, walking through streets buried under a meter of mud and rocks, etc. It was an absolute odyssey. A few weeks ago the sewage, water, and electricity systems were finally restored. During that time I was out there with a shovel digging out the building entrance. There were people much more affected, honestly, but anyway… All the neighbors had to chip in to repair the elevator, buy water pumps, clean the tank, and pay for machinery to clean the basement/garage. Several neighbors lost their cars (luckily I don’t have one, especially with how expensive fuel is, etc.). I decided to finish several short pending comics that you’ll already be able to see in the 2026 folders on Mega. I’ll be catching up on everything pending, and there’s honestly a lot. I’ll try to bring daily content, upload, create, generate as much as possible, etc. It’s 4 a.m., I’ve just managed to catch up and check my notebooks with all the pending work, etc.ESPANOLHola, ha pasado un tiempo. Volví recién porque considero que me he estabilizado. El motivo de mi desaparición fue que, cuando creí que estaba en mi mejor momento, después de haberme mudado a una zona de ciudad para no tener problemas con electricidad, transformadores, internet y esas cosas, unas fuertes lluvias y la mala infraestructura de la ciudad y del lugar donde me mudé provocaron un desastre “natural”. Hubo un desborde de un río cercano por las lluvias, lo que hizo que la zona donde vivo quedara inundada, sin acceso a electricidad, sin internet y sin desagüe. Mi falsa idea de estar en una posición ventajosa al vivir en un 6to piso bastante humilde se volvió en mi contra: perdí la posibilidad de usar el ascensor, tuve que comprar galones de agua no solo para beber sino para todo lo básico, la subestación de mi zona quedó inutilizada dejándonos sin luz a todos, caminar por calles enterradas en un metro de lodo y rocas, etc. Fue toda una odisea. Hace unas semanas terminó de restablecerse el sistema de alcantarillado, agua y electricidad. Durante ese tiempo estuve agarrando la pala para desenterrar la entrada del edificio. Hubo gente mucho más afectada, la verdad, pero bueno… Todos los vecinos tuvimos que hacer pagos para recuperar el ascensor, comprar bombas de agua, limpiar el tanque y pagar maquinaria para limpiar el sótano/garaje del edificio. Varios vecinos perdieron sus carros (por suerte yo no tengo uno, con lo caro que está el combustible, etc.). Decidí terminar varios cómics cortos pendientes que ya podrán ver en las carpetas del 2026 de Mega. Estaré retomando todo lo pendiente, que es mucho, sinceramente. Trataré de traer contenido diario, subir, hacer, generar todo lo posible, etc. Son las 4 a.m., recién pude ponerme al día y revisar mis cuadernos con los trabajos pendientes, etc.
