NEW DESIGN: Little Miko and her kitsune (#73) (Patreon)

Meet new Little Dark's friend - Little Miko (design number 73)!

Little Miko is a young spirit medium who can communicate with the spirit realm. By her side is her magical fox companion — the enchanting kitsune.

Little Miko comes as a customizable model kit. We’ve prepared several outfit and hairstyle variations for Little Miko - a total of 17 STL files. You can see the options in the attached pics.

Kitsune has 4 looks and comes in 3 versions:

- For Dark - has holes for hands- Keychain - has a loop for a chain- Toy - just a figurine

We intentionally left some clearance between the parts. After working on Little Santa, we realized it's better when pieces fit a bit more loosely — that way, they can always be glued or attached with adhesive pads like UHU (which we personally use because it allows us to swap out parts easily).

Miko has a short neck — on one hand, it might fall out if the figure is dropped and not secured with glue or pads, but on the other hand, the short neck lets you slightly rotate the head, which adds life and expression to Miko.

Before printing Miko in color, we recommend doing a test print in a single color to experiment.

If some parts feel too loose or too tight, feel free to scale them up or down slightly.

Japan is a whole universe of incredible culture and tradition. Even though we haven’t fully discovered it for ourselves yet, it hasn’t stopped us from drawing inspiration from it.
