NEW DESIGN: Realistic Unicorn (#77) (Patreon)

We present to you our new flexi design — Realistic Unicorn (#77).

The unicorn is based on the Realistic Horse (#65) design. It features a movable head with a SNAP attachment (no pins!).

There is a pre-painted 3MF (Bambu Studio/Orca Slicer) file in the archive.

We recommend printing the body and head separately if you plan to use our color pattern. This will make the print slightly faster and use a bit less filaments.Using our 3MF file, we printed the Unicorn’s head with 5 colors, even though we only have a standard 4-slot AMS. The eyes and horn share the same color (AMS slot 3, hereafter referred to as “color 3”). We first loaded black filament into that slot, and after the eyes were printed, we swapped the filament.

The base of the horn is colored the same as the mane — color 2 — so that the layers at a height of 17.2–17.4 mm don’t use color 3. This gives you enough time to swap the filament without stopping the printer, and the final result looks quite interesting.
