Dear friends,

December went out of our plans because we caught some virus and we dropped out of work completely for 2 weeks. We wanted to finish the new toy by Christmas but only now we're ready to present it to you. Please meet Elcid the dragon baby.

It's our most complicated and flexible design by far. There are lots new and cool features in it. And now I'm going to tell you everything about it in detail.

1) Legs. The legs consist of 4 articulated parts that allows Elcid to lie, sit, stand and bend his legs in different ways. You can make up just lots of different poses.

2) Tail. The tail is quite flexible, it consists of 7 parts. It's possible to fix it on the dragon's back, I mean the tail can be in a raised position (you can see it in the pics)

3) Neck. We developed the edges of the body-neck articulation point in a way that the neck can hold the position in different positions. It's hard me to explain it in English but when you print the toy you'll see what I mean. And there is one tip - pull the neck to the extreme upper and lower position several times before putting on the head. That makes the point of articulation works well.

4) Head. Or even I'd call it as a head joint. It allows the head to be securely attached to the neck and reach a wide angle of the head movement.

5) The whole dragon is developed for using Fill tool in Bambu Studio, you can easily create different paint variations of the toy. And we've prepared for you pre-painted 3MF files.

6) And the last feature is design itself. We tried to create Elcid as cute and flexible as possible with lots of "obedient" points of articulation.

We're very proud of this design and we really hope you'll like it! And we'd like to get your feedback on the dragon when you print and play with it. Especially, if you use multi-colored printing ) Look forward to hearing about your results!

Oh, and there is our person news. We've found a way to get Bambu Lab A1! And we hope that we can get one in February 2024 and print our own multi-colored toys! Crossed fingers ))

We would like to wish you a Merry Christmas (with a delay) and a Happy New Year. May there will be a lot of success, health, happiness and love in the new year 🎄🎁💜

Thank you for being with us this year and see you in the next one, the year of the Dragon ))

P.S. Free access to this design has ended. Our paid subscribers can purchase it on the MyMiniFactory website using the club discount code. The code and MMF link can be found herehttps://www.patreon.com/posts/93014918

I am glad you are now feeling a bit better! This looks absolutely incredible and I am going to try and print it tonight instead of the thing I should be printing! Thank you again for advancing your skills for us. I am also thrilled that you're not able to get a Bambu, you're going to absolutely love it!

Learning the hard way to free the hip, leg, and foot joints. One print I snapped a back leg on one side and the foot joint on the other side. Another print I snapped the hip joint. Last one I snapped another leg. I'm so excited for this design, I'm really hoping it's a filament problem. I know if I'm having this much trouble, my customers will have more. Hoping in the days ahead to hear tips from others . (We have creality machines)
