Loved this video! Can’t wait for OTV builds airplanes hehe

See if you can find footage of an old UK show called Scrapheap Challenge. They had 3 teams build something from anything they could find in a scrapyard, but if the build needed something specific, e.g. fan blades if they were making a hovercraft, production would have seeded the yard with a variety of them (of differing qualities) for the teams to find.

Im thinking about the projects I had for hs physics class: a catapult or a bridge

Brian McConnell

such a fun vid. next time camping, have them build scuffed forts to defend against a water balloon assault.

Josh J

PARACHUTES!

Haruka T

a bridge would be sick, or maybe like and assortment of diff types of weapons and see how they do it, maybe try smelting?

shirase

collab with william osman and run a science olympiad type event where teams do egg drop tests

Tedo, M.D.

The only obvious next step in the OTV racing series would be an amphibious vehicle, where you start with a cart that then is able to float. You start with a road challenge, then you reach the pool, where it’s a oneway travel across the water, in which you finish when you touch the end of the pool. You can’t expect them to get out of the pool, unless you create a ramp and even then, you’ll need a propulsion system to help combat gravity. Hence, you use the momentum from the downhill travel to then glide into the pool and complete the course that way.

idea: fashion show where contestants have to create outfits from rolls of fabric/scrap fabric

GT

Tangential ideas: Wood car racing "pinewood derby" where they all make their own cars to run against each other. Or customized RC car racing where they all get a "stock" car, but get parts that they can modify with to compete with.

Kenji

Build dog houses and have temmie and binky choose the winner

Faux Fennec

The Faze boys might have a slip n slide in this house, but they will never take away OTV's soapbox car racing.
