It's fun to go back and remember some of Garnet's moments now that you know she's a fusion. Like when Amethyst said fusion was hard, even for the gems, and Garnet said "Not for me."

Now you know why Garnet was so happy to see Steven and Connie fuse! Also, fun fact: Rebecca Sugar, creator of SU, worked on Adventure Time before pitching her series. You will find that a lot of story driven cartoons were made by people who worked on AT, and going back a little more, they were also people who worked on a cartoon called Flapjack. This is not a spoiler but one thing that TA and SU have in common is that they are storyboard-driven. Meaning the storyboarders have a lot of weight on the story and art style of their shots, and while a lot of people criticize the series because of this, I think it gives it this 'made-with-love' feel.
