I love the Off-Colors! They show off various different groups that society marks as "others". The Rutile twins, of course, are conjoined twins that stayed together, Padparascha has a disability, Rhodonite is a marginalized couple (interracial, gay, take your pick), and Fluorite is a poly relationship.

I think my favorite part of Padparascha’s design is that unlike our Sapphire, who resembles Princess Zelda in a lot of ways, she instead resembles Princess Peach lol (as well as her name translating to Peach Sapphire)
