You forgot to double back to Crocus's newspaper! (You didn't miss much, it just said Iceberg found a replacement secretary, haha)

mikeyventure

Ugh yeah I remembered right after recording. Went back and saw that haha

The newspaper Crocus was reading showed an article about Iceberg having auditions for a new Secretary after the whole deal with Kalifa and CP9, several women are lined up to meet him... including a very sexy one who's flirting with him, one of the Water Bulls disguised as a woman, as well as a little girl... That is actually one of the mini-stories Oda included in the Covers of the Manga, and to make that story short...... Iceberg actually chosed the little girl to be his new secretary xddd. the other article it shows is about Ace's personal Adventure after he separated from the Straw Hats in Alabasta, which is another cover story that leads up to his encounter with Blackbeard in Banaro Island. Cool detail about Brook's cut-to-commercial Card.... all the StrawHat's little animations has the "camera" always going down to the things that represent them, but in Brook's little animation... the camera goes UP to the things that represent him, in reference to the fact that he has "Risen" from the Dead.

And now that Brook is officially a Straw Hat, here are some extra details of information about him that Oda has provided through the SBS.... His birthday is April 3rd. He's 266cm in Height (8'9'' feet) He smells like Tea His Blood Type is X (One Piece World has it's own system of Blood classification, with the types being F, S, X and XF) (Nami and Chopper also have Type X Blood). The animals he resembles the most are Horse and Giraffe (Oda said so). His favorite place to be is a Spring Island during Autumn (each Straw Hat has their own favorite place to be) His Favorite food is Curry His least favorite food is Lemon (No cheeks to make sour face) His nationality if he lived in our real world would be Austrian. He only bathes once a week (same as Luffy and Zoro, the rest of Straw Hats have better bathing habits xdd) His sleep schedule is from 12pm to 5am (5 hours) (Same as Sanji) If he participated in a 50 meter race against all the other Straw Hats... Oda revealed he would be First Place, making him the fastest Straw Hat (Sanji would be second and Luffy Third). And finally... remember how in Water 7 i mentioned something that Oda stated? About the roles the Straw Hats would have if they were a blood-related family? Zoro being the First Child, Sanji the second, Usopp the Third, Luffy the Fourth, Nami the Fifth, Chopper the youngest child, Robin the Mother and Franky the Father? Well... after Brook joined the crew in the manga Oda revealed that his role in the family would be..... "The Quirky Grandpa" xddd.

Also idk if you've already talked about it, but Ian Sinclair as Brook might be the single best casting in the dub. He's so good.

PurpleZerk

I already gave my thoughts on this arc, so to close it off, I present a dub-only skeleton joke, for the road: "What do you call a singing skeleton?" "A natural-bone singer!"

Zantos

Yohohohoho

No spoiler but factual opinion.. next arc is super short. But better than water 7\enies lobby. Sabaody archipelago.. Mark it down..
