Fun fact: "Happy Birthday Song Contest" was aired the same year as the court case that led to the original Happy Birthday song becoming public domain (in September of 2015, Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. was deemed to only hold copyright over a specific piano arrangement, and not the actual lyrics/melody, so it was *de facto* public domain until it finally became *officially* public domain in June 2016). But since this episode first aired in February 2015, the show almost certainly had to pay the royalties to use it in the show.
