I have said it a bunch before but I agree, the score and the visuals are so wonderfully done and I have been really pleased that they kept that going into season 2. Similar to One Piece they reuse a lot of the same score so there's always that sense of nostalgia when one of the old favourites kick in. When I first watched the show I knew it was high fantasy and I knew it involved magic and demons an such. But I didn't really know what to expect beyond that and honestly the approach this show took was completely out of left field for me and I loved every second of it. It has easily become my comfort show, I will often throw episodes on in both sub and dub and just relax with it on in the background. Speaking of which I definitely recommend giving it a rewatch in dub, the voice acting is fantastic and the vocal range/tone for Frieren's character is just different enough that it almost feels like a whole new role even though the scenes and dialogue haven't changed. I personally found that really unique, because usually when theres such a contrast of voices I tend to heavily prefer one over the other.
