I’m glad you enjoyed watching these! There are currently 28 openings. Trust me, they only get better from here (at least in my opinion lol)

JD Dumas

That was the Straw Hats' VAs singing We Are.

Ok

31:00 most of these are based on color spreads

Ok

Should Mark watch strong world/episode 0?

- Brand New World: a lot of people love this opening, and i like it a lot too... but i wouldn't put it among my favorites, for me it sits somewhere between 20th and 10th place out of the 28 openings there are so far. - We Are (Straw Hats Version): This one is just really cute, getting to hear the voice actors of the Straw Hat Crew singing this iconic song is awesome. And damn.... Mayumi Tanaka has some pipes, even while doing Luffy's voice... her singing was so powerful and clean, big props to her. - Crazy Rainbow: This one is just... meh, for me. Not bad but also not good.... and a lot of that also has to do with the visuals, this opening has (in my opinion) some of the most boring visuals... at least compared to the rest of the openings (Also keep in mind that a lot of the visuals the openings use are animated adaptations of Cover Art Oda makes in the Manga). - Jungle P : This is one of my favorites... definitely in the Top 10, i just really enjoy the song... the visuals are good as well (also this is where the openings started being longer, essentially because the animation studio stopped making ending songs). - We Are (REMIX): My Absolute LEAST Favorite out of all the openings. This is One of only Two openings which i actively dislike, i don't mean to be disrespectful to the artist who made this version of the song...... But this just doesn't have ANY of the charm of the original and the worst part is... that it drags for sooooo long (the only downside of longer openings), it gets repetitive and boring very quickly. - Share the World: And we go from my least favorite opening to one of my absolute favorites, Top 10 as well... pretty close to Top 5. I just love the beat... for moments it makes me feel like im listening to a Michael Jackson song xddd. - Kaze wo Sagashite: So here's a not so fun fact..... the reason why a song so upbeat and cute-sounding was chosen to be the first opening of an Arc like Marineford is because... when Marineford started airing... Japan had just suffered the 2011 quake and Tsunami, where a lot of people died. Given this tragic event... the animation studios were required to have more positive and upbeat music in anime in order to lift the spirits of the Japanese population (Oh and the title means "Search for the Wind"). - One Day: This is definitely the most "Angsty" of all the openings, but i like it a lot nonetheless, if i had to give it a ranking i would say that it's just barely outside my Top 10. - Fight Together: This Opening was for the longest time... my Absolute Favorite out of all of them, the music choice is just Perfect for the moment in the story it's placed, it sounds both melancholic and hopeful at the same time... and the visuals, man...... that part where we see all the ways Luffy has impacted the lives of his friends.... never fails to make me choked up. Like i said.... this was my favorite opening for a long time..... but it was very recently dethroned in my personal Ranking by none other than opening 28, the latest one. I know it's still gonna take you a while to listen to it.... but i would be lying if i told you i wasn't already excited to see you react to it. Good Reaction as always, and see you again in the Post-Timeskip Era!

Hello Mikey, this is the youtube username LoneWolf93. Love your reactions and consistency. Seeing how you are at episode 516+ I wanted to let you in on a OnePiece project, that I have been working on since last year's October. You might have heard about OnePace, how it strictly adheres to the manga, telling the story how Oda wrote. There are some flaws in that project, cz first of all, Adaptations are different than reading a book. We all loved the LiveAction, similarly, when a medium changes, some elements are added on top of the material, to ease up the flow of scenes, which cannot be fitted into the manga, otherwise even the manga gets too long. I am working with one another dude on this project that we have named OnePiece-X. X marks the Nakama bonding, like the Strawhats raising their arms when they left Alabasta. It is a middle ground between OnePiece and OnePace. It keeps all the Good addons in the show, while trimming down excessive staredowns and/or repeated scenes. For your next saga, as of right now, we have completed it in full. Additionally, there was a Remake of that particular arc done in 2024-2025, but that Remake is not good for first time watchers, as it even skips Manga content. So what we did was, blended the Original anime material with the Great scenes of the Remake material, in a way that it does not feel jarring. The transitions were smooth, even the soundtracks were vastly similar when a scene switches back-n-forth. Now I know how Originality of a Production is supreme, how hard working people are in that industry. But since we stuck with the soul of the show, not taking out everything that OnePace does, I say its worth a shot, let your Mods look at it perhaps. I am open to sharing it on their discord messages. We all love Onepiece, but as a content creator, you know how certain scenes can be Fine Tuned, and all of it affects during viewing and editing it, with a full time job. Kindly consider.

Oooooooh that makes sense. My ears did not pick up on that haha

You hyped for the Live Action Season 2?

mikeyventure

I am! Sorry I’ve been dealing with family stuff and increased time at my job, so I haven’t been able to consistently do my recordings. So the recordings I’ve had time for I’ve been focusing on the shows that get the most watch time and views. But everything is back to normal now and should be having regular uploads again, including Bojack. I say thus once in a while. If you ever notice that I'm not as consistent for a week or so, then that means pretty important stuff outside of this has my full attention. And if it's something major where there will be a big gap in content, then I make an announcement.

... See now as someone whose favorite band is ska-punk, and just generally been getting more into ska recently, I gotta ask who the bands you did listen to were
