Besides Robin... Another of the new designs im not particularly fond off is Chopper's.... Since it was already confirmed that the reason he looks more and more cutesy as the story goes on is purely because of Marketing purposes, Oda's editor had to convince him to give Chopper a more "Plushie" appearance, wanting to make him the "New Pikachu".... which is funny given that both characters share the same voice actress. Also... quick note... Chopper is still wearing the Red Top-hat that Dr. Hiriluk gave him (obviously he's not just gonna throw that away), it's just now hidden beneath that new Blue hat he has. Yeah... Zoro getting lighter is also a quirk of the anime.... but in his case it makes sense since in the colored manga he was always very white..... and there's also the fact that he's supposed to be Japanese (if he lived in the real world). It's the same case as Robin... the anime depicted her with dark skin first because back then there still wasn't a colored ilustration of her in the manga, but she was always supposed to be white (although i still prefer how she looks with darker skin). So... the designs are obviously all from Oda's mind, there are very slight differences between the Manga and the Anime.... as the anime tends to slightly exaggerate proportions (most notably with Nami and other female characters), but other than that the designs for the anime are pretty much spot on. I know it's a little confusing given some of the Straw Hat's lighter skin stones... but almost all of them have the skin tones they're actually supposed to have.... The only weird case is Usopp.... because Oda has stated that if he lived in the real world he would be from Africa (he didn't specify a country so most fans agreed to headcanon South Africa as his real-life origin) and even casted Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp in the Live-action........... and yet... in both the Colored Manga... and the anime.... he is depicted with White skin. And finally.... this small arc is called Return to Sabaody.

I find it hilarious how the Monster Trio all got scars, both Luffy and Zoro got physical scars, while Sanji got emotional scars.
