Hmm half human half dog . What is this a cross over episode of Beastars? I like how they show the lady in the stroller every season when Bojack yeeted her baby in the stroller during the first season cut away joke. It's nice continuity. But yeah this episode makes me think of that pro life movie Unplanned when the doc says "Beam me up Scotty." Lmao hahaha

Yeah, the bit is not that the doctor is secretly anti-abortion, the bit is parodying the actual state laws that require abortion providers to say medically inaccurate things because the state wants to dissuade abortions. Of course most of this is irrelevant now because after the Dobbs decision the states that had those laws mostly just banned abortion outright.

For the question of what species or hybrid the child would end up, just remember end of season 2 that Penny and Kyle were a deer and a human and they had one child who was a deer and one who was human. I think the "fart it out" "theory" about unwanted pregnancies is a joke about that one deeply stupid politician saying the body would "shut down" pregnancy from a "legitimate rape".

This is a hard episode rn for afab folks. It was always bleak, but as someone who currently lives in a state where abortions are illegal, no exceptions for rape or danger to the pregnant person's life, and my legislators are trying to pass a ruling to give the death penalty to abortion recipients, it has become infuriating. These horrible lawmakers, mostly men, only exist and have power because a mother carried them in the womb and suffered for 9 months. Now they want to take that for granted and punish the very demographic their mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters belong to. The entitlement sickens me.
