You called it. Luffy just Haki'd all over them. I also think its worth reminding that Shirahosi was 6 at the time of her mothers death. So its understandable that she would take the promise she made her mother to heart way more than most people would.

I feel like trying to justify Shirahoshi's decision to not tell anyone the truth with "she was too young" kinda undermines the message the story is trying to convey. Like... yes, it would've been better if Hody was punished right away for his crime, but it's still great that Shirahoshi held on to her mother's last wish the best way she could and therefore... kept her spirit alive, to not hold a grudge no matter what.... and she deserves all the praise for it (if you think about it.... it's the same message that Doctor Hiriluk was teaching Chopper).
