I love Mando's ship, but I would have burned this thing to the ground after all this! He finally gets a lead to find more Mandalorians, only for the New Republic to get in his way. I really enjoyed seeing how they responded to Mando, but I just hope he can find more of his people after all this.

I know I said this season is my favourite, but this episode is by far the worst it's just pure filler. That being said, it does actually get Din on his journey towards the main plot. The New Republic being involved is also a good follow up on season 1. Seeing these spiders in live action is so scary to me as an arachnophobe 🤣, they are technically the same species as those in Rebels but also kind of not. It's like how we have African elephants and Asian elephants, the same species but slightly different to adapt to the environment they live in. This season does only get better from here so don't worry about getting annoyed!

Oh yeah the Episode where Baby Yoda just eats Poor Frog Lady's defenseless vulnerable Children 😈 and they somehow made it funny 🤣🤣😅 Imagine telling that to someone out of context lol, it also caused a bit of a riot online people were not happy 😂 good times haha. Sorry Moff Gideon we might've found the true villain of the series 😈 But gosh those Spiders showing up In Live Action absolutely terrifying 😬😬 like big NOPE! I now can understand Ezra's fear and his reluctance to make peace with them & just wanna chop 'em down, I wouldn't wanna have them around even if they were tame! Rebels art style made them look kinda nice in a weird way but here just the sight alone makes me uneasy! 😬😬 Also another Rebels Easter Egg this Episode which I found funny was when Peli was playing Sabacc with "Dr Mandibles" she beat his hand with an "Idiots Array!" as she shouted, same Card Play that Lando beat Zeb with when he won Chop & what that Episode was named after lol, no wonder she was insistent on Mando covering his Hand for him she knew she had it in the bag 😂 Oh Peli Never change. I know it's a tiny thing but I always love little Callbacks even Obscure or Subtle ones. Then having another run in with the New Republic was fun but a pain lol, and yeah you pointed out how different this went to say running into an Imperial Patrol so it's nice to see that change and that they can even handle these situations how they want and make their own judgement. It's a shame they are sort of the reason for this Stop on the Trip lol but of course I can't really blame them for stopping & chasing him I mean you have a Ship flying "off-road" essentially in a New Republic Patrol area without a transponder which is the equivalent of a Car Registration so that already made them sus, then after a chat they then recognize that it was involved in a Prison Break and when they try point that out Mando does a runner which is one of the worst things to do 😂 Then Of course Mr Filoni Pilot Returns! He can't help himself lol 🐺🤣🤣 I do like how his character played a factor into the Story this time because initially the Lead Pilot Carson (the one with more focus & lines) was almost ready to let Mando go and then it was Filoni Pilot who said "Carson switch to the other channel please" My guess is he suddenly remembered the Ship because he himself saw it fly away as he arrived to that other Station and put two & two together and that's why they then asked "Was your ship involved with Prison Transport etc" BUSTED! 😂 Damnit Dave why did it have to be you that showed up?! 🤣🤣 At least this whole episode showed their efficiency. Now thankfully by the end it all got resolved so now Mando can at least continue on without the fear of them arresting him, although I doubt Mando will actually Listen & Fix his Transponder since that's how his Ship remains a Ghost and things can't be traced back to him 😂 but It's nice that this showed his Good deeds have pay offs as well and not just the Bad ones that bring consequences. But overall not too much else to say about this Episode other than we're getting closer to Mandalorians by at least having a proper lead & destination this time and we've picked up a new Friend along the way 🐸 This Episode is fine as a continuation and I do enjoy it but yeah definitely far from a Favourite for loads which I can't say I blame. I think most fan's distaste for this episode mainly comes from how we felt about it at the time it released & still carry with us today lol, after waiting a year for Season 2 and with the First episode kinda not being what a lot expected this episode didn't help much either lol and Poor Frog Lady was the Easy Target for Backlash 😂😅 Hopefully the episodes after this going forward more than make up for it though!

I think this did pretty good for a filler episode, while it deviated from the main plot it did have some really good moments. As you said we get to see more of the New Republic which was a plus and the Spiders were so creepy but cool to see 😂 You’re so right about them being like African and Asian Elephants as the one in this was so much bigger than Rebels and I just can’t believe they could get freakier than that! Can’t wait to see what else is in store for this season with the weakest now being out the way!

😂 😂 Yeah, this plot line was certainly interesting, you really have to not thinking about it a lot for it to stary funny otherwise you start to realise how ‘morally questionable’ it becomes! I can’t believe they managed to find a way to bring the spiders back and somehow even more terrifying, at least this time they were handled differently since Ezra isn’t around to make friends with them and I have to say it was very satisfying see them get destroyed 😂 That’s such a good detail and makes me realise how much this episode does relate to Rebels, first the Spiders and now Peli shouting this, it’s just so much fun to think about how Rebels was in the minds of the creators when they were making this. Loved seeing the New Republic here and just getting a better understanding of what their impact on the Galaxy is, so nice to know they are quite hesitant to start blasting unlike the Empire. Also love how you’ve described this as Mando essentially missing his Car Registration 🤣 Definitely makes sense why they had to stop him, and I think I’m recognising Filoni now so yeah this was just a very bad spot for Mando to be in but at least he managed to get it sorted out in the end and can be on the New Republic’s good side. This episode was certainly fun but I think I share what seems to be a few people’s feelings on this then, my mind set is that there would have been a long wait for this season and then the first 2 episode essentially make them wait even longer till things get rolling, however having seen the next episode I think it was so worth the wait and can totally understand why they did this now 😂
