I don't know whether to be in awe or heartbroken, this was such a great ending to the season and I'm still not over everything that happens here, but seeing Luke again just makes this so amazing!!!

"I'm sure Leia would be helping Mon Mothma it's not like she has a Planet to go back to.."-Ben Damn Ben Low Blow! 💥 hahaha! 🤣🤣😬 I'll never forget when this came out it was one of the biggest moments for current Star Wars where already this Popular show's second & bigger season's Finale was about to Air and then adding Luke on top of it by having him show up & save the day at the end got millions cheering in unison. I watched this with my Dad and he was geeking out more than I was which is unusual for him 😂 but I don't blame him lol Luke was his generation of Jedi Heroes when he was growing up whereas because of when I was born I was more the Ahsoka/Ezra generation growing up 😂 but I was still losing my damn mind & extremely giddy to see Luke again in action and looking the same he did in ROTJ, I'll go more into Luke a bit later on though. This team up and storming the Light cruiser was awesome to see though, I know it went pretty smoothly and there wasn't much that challenged them initially but I still think it's just a treat to Watch these beloved Characters kick butt as usual like Fennec & Bo-Katan along side Cara it never gets old lol, they all got their moments to shine this Episode. Moff Gideon's once again cool & persistent this episode but I definitely get what you're saying though with him being "defeated" this episode, with all the build up they did with him I was expecting a little more antagonism, I wasn't disappointed definitely not but It still would've been cool to see a little more, hopefully his story isn't done yet he definitely showed his clever side where he knew Mando having the Darksaber would create Conflict with Bo so that was good thinking on his part for sure, that could've created a very tense & interesting situation if the Darktroopers & Luke hadn't interrupted, you just know even "captured alive" he could still be dangerous & resourceful. His & Mando's fight was pretty cool though with how rough it got, very different to Ahsoka & Morgan's fight where their fight was a lot more quiet & eastern style where as here Din & Gideon really got scrappy with hitting surroundings and using blows and Mando using his gadgets like the Grappling whip, was fun to Watch. Yep the Conflict between Bo and Din was definitely tense to watch and I was almost hoping to see where it goes before it got interrupted lol. But will be interesting to see if it does go anywhere or get explored more in the future. Speaking of the future where does Mando go after this?? Grogu's gone 😭 Damnit Luke why'd you have to come in and ruin everything?! 😂 I'm kidding I'm sure he'll be in good hands with Luke but it's still heartbreaking to see them separate, hopefully we do get some sort of reunion though! But Mando also removed his Helmet properly in front of others!! So it'll be interesting to see if he goes back to his Covert and admits his guilt or hides it or who knows what'll happen lol, he has the darksaber also so his Covert will definitely need a explanation for that 😂 Maybe he will go with Bo?? No idea what he'll be doing next time we see him which is exciting to think about but looks like we're gonna have to wait for that for now. Then of Course Luke showing up and effortlessly mowing down the Darktroopers was crazy he even got an obligatory "hallway scene" which is funny to think about but awesome to witness 😂🤩 There were loads of theories leading up to this Episode that Luke was gonna be the one to take away Grogu because he used the Seeing stone so it was assumed he managed to reach out to one and well.. as Ahsoka said "there aren't many Jedi left" so Luke felt like the only other obvious one, and then he does show up along with R2 🤯🤯 It's quite impressive how Luke knew Grogu was trapped in this ship though, maybe he had some sort of "force lock-on" once he first detected Grogu back on Tython 😂 you gotta remember the Dark side isn't really clouding the galaxy anymore so Jedi strong in the force should definitely be able to sense other force users easily enough. In terms of what Luke's been up to well it's kinda covered & established in the "Aftermath Book Trilogy" as is the case with a lot of world-building things in these Post-OT shows unfortunately 😂 so it's not really a spoiler to just tell you at this point. After not having the Burden of defeating the Sith anymore Luke has free time on his hands so he's been going around the Galaxy discovering Jedi stuff & locations & history and still learning all he can ever expanding his knowledge & skills as a Jedi always should, you gotta remember his only exposure to Jedi stuff was with Old Ben who he wasn't with for very long then Yoda which his time with him was mostly spent in a Swamp 😂 so needless to say he still wanted to learn a lot more things and "expand his horizons" incase he wanted to continue the legacy of the Jedi. But he started doing that right after ROTJ so during this moment he would've been doing that for a while so after quite a few years doing that at this point he should be very knowledged and skilled up and more than capable of taking on a Student or even start his own order if he wants to! I mean we got to witness his skills & power this episode and he seems to be in top form! He doesn't really get involved too much with the New Republic stuff he's pretty separate because as we've learnt from the Past Jedi & Government Politics/bureaucracy don't mix well 🤣🤣 so Luke's kinda been doing his own thing. And besides with Leia still being a pretty high up influential Leader in the New Republic there's no one he trusts more to handle things than his Twin Sister and of course he would still be more than happy to help with something if she genuinely reached out & asked him but most of the time she can handle things without him anyway being the capable person she is. And yep that is actually Mark Hamill standing there for Luke so thankfully it's still in good taste and not quite like Tarkin where a Dead actor's face was on someone else 😂 Yeah Luke with a CGI face is definitely a popular debate & divisive topic in the Fandom and I understand why Lucasfilm are hesitant to Recast him because at least at the time most of the fandom didn't want to see another face as Luke which influenced this way of doing him and I can admit it is still pretty cool to see Luke just as he was in the OT and of course it does work for a short appearance here, but it's now gonna create more hard work if they wanna give Live Action Luke in this time period a lot more to do. Thankfully today it's kinda shifted where a lot of the fandom now seem pretty more open to the idea of recasting him so hopefully if they do give him another appearance in something new there is a chance for a new actor to take on the role and be the new face of Luke, I know Mark Hamill would be more than happy & supportive to give someone else the role. And lastly yeah this appearance from Luke was a pretty big deal for a lot of fans especially long time ones, it's pretty hard to kinda say much with the Sequels existing and you having not seen them yet lol, I have no doubt a few fans will probably wanna tell you exactly why anyway so be wary of that if you don't wanna know the full context or spoilers 😅 release-wise yes this came out about 1 year after that trilogy had wrapped up but I think once you finally watch those movies you'll understand why this was an amazing appearance and the emotions it brought to so many and that's all I'll say for now I'm afraid 😂 Now it's time for Boba Fett's show and I'm excited but I wouldn't wanna lie to you either 😅 it's definitely the show with the most mixed feelings & opinions and some really interesting creative choices & directions, and also it suffered a bit from Studio interference so just keep that in mind lol, but even so there's still tons of really good stuff in it so still excited and interested to see you begin it next week 😁

When Mando took his helmet off and Grogu touched his face, that’s the first time anyone has touched his face since he was a kid and took the Creed.

😂 😂 Well it’s true plus I really couldn’t think what else she’d be up to. Still can’t believe Luke was actually here and managed to save the day. It’s so cool to finally see him again and I can only imagine the collective inanity that would have erupted from fans after seeing this! It’s so cool that you’re Dad geeked out about this as it shows how meaningful Luke’s inclusion is here, this show was already incredible at feeling like an open door for new Star Wars fans and now it feels like the perfect balance for newbies and veterans. After thinking about it more I’m actually really happy about how smoothy it went, this team is so overpowered that making it challenging wouldn’t feel right as you’d need like an army of walkers to actually feel like a challenge for them, but then I love that they add this missing tension in with Bo-Katan, Mando and the Darksaber, the initial conflict was easy with how powerful they are so the real conflict comes from within the group over this blade. Gideon’s presence here just feels like more building to me, he’s such an awesome villain so I’d assume that his capture is only a setback and he still has more to do, that said he was still so cool in this episode, he’s fight with the Darksaber shows how deadly he can be plus his intellect has to be one of his greatest weapons, not only with his planning but also being able to come up with the Dark Troopers makes him very impressive. Can’t wait to see where Bo and Mando’s conflict goes, I can easily see with Bo pestering Mando for a fight constantly so she can win it back or just forcing him on to the throne even if he doesn’t want to just get Mandalore up and running again 😂 Grogu and Din have to be reunited!! This ending both leaves me heartbroken and in awe and the only way I can be happy is knowing that they’ll meet again and still have their father-son relationship. Feels like Mando’s story has a lot of direction at the minute even with Grogu gone, the first step has to be the covert considering how big of a deal the helmet being removed is. I don’t think he’d just up and leave the cult so he’s got a lot to answer for plus I really want to see the other’s reaction to the Darksaber considering what they thought of his Beskar. Luke’s hallway fight was so good, after seeing Mando struggle against one for so long really helps to show how overpowered a Jedi is compared to a literal Mandalorian! Also love that everyone theories it would be Luke considering how few Jedi actually remain, it really does feel like it’s just him left aside from Ezra who’s still who knows where or some other one that managed to survive for this long. R2 was also such an awesome surprise and I still just find it so weird seeing Luke, R2 and Grogu together 😂 😂 I have to assume the Force lock-on thing is how Luke found him, pretty sure Ahsoka and Anakin could do something like this in Clone Wars so with the balance now shifted away from the Dark it makes perfect sense it’d be stronger. Absolutely love that Luke immediately went top learn more about the Jedi after the OT, honestly would have loved a show or something of just Luke traveling the Galaxy and exploring a bunch of Jedi lore. It’s so cool to think of how advance he is now as a Jedi as it almost feels like he has training a lot of Jedi we knew haven’t, the well-travelled nature of this knowledge makes me think he could have learned far more things than we’ve been exposed to so far with how much variety there is out there, from the Stuff on Lothal, the crystal stuff on the Ice planet etc. Glad to hear the galaxy has learnt its lesson and Luke stays separate from all the bureaucracy 🤣 Leia definitely has it all covered but it does make me wonder what kind of threat could present itself that would make Leia call for Luke’s help. So happy to know this 🤣 Feels like the whole aging thing and bringing dead actors is just getting more and more nuts so very happy to know this is only de-aging! I think for me, this was amazing to have Mark Hamill back and fits the purpose of his appearance here, it’s Luke’s grand return so of course you’d want to bring back the original actor if you could, and since Disney has enough money to do literally anything and reverse time they can 😂 But if they did decide to do more and give Luke more story during this time, I’d love to see a new actor take over and perform the role as that’d be such a huge opportunity for someone plus it'd just be easier and less budget intensive and we’d get to see more Luke directly after the OT after so many years have passed. I assume Luke must appear in the Sequels, so this probably wasn’t the first time he’s shown up since the OT but I’m so curious as to what generated this reaction if he did return already but don’t worry, I’ll be very careful about spoiler, quite happy getting the answer to these questions when I get to the Sequels themselves. Having recorded a few episodes of Boba Fett I can see what you mean about mixed feelings 😬 😂 Looking forward to finding out more about though and figuring out why they chose to do certain things. But so far it does seem fun but in the most recent episode I recorded, there’s just something I can’t get past 😬 🛵

The more I think about that scene the huger it feels! I completely overlooked what the touch would have meant compared just the action of taken of the helmet since it’s such a subtle and normal thing, yet Mando has been deprived of it for so long. Really can’t wait to see what he’ll do about his covert with what all of this means.
