What an amazing episode!! The villains are already proving to be a formidable force by taking Korra out of the fight before it even started, but Bolin proved to be the MVP by taking out the Combustion Bender. Plus, more people are with the villains!?

It's never mentioned within the Avatar universe, but a popular head canon is that Sokka died protecting Korra from Zaheer. That's one of the things that drives me mad about this series; it never answers what happened to some of the ATLA characters. This season is a jigsaw puzzle, it's fun to see you try and figure it out. See you next Saturday, Ben!

AND THEY NEVER CONFIRM THIS!?! 🤯🤯 This honestly sounds like such a perfect ending for Sokka to actually go down fighting for the future Avatar and would add so much more weight and connection to the villains knowing the actually took him out; I might just choose to believe this if this doesn’t get confirmed as it seems so good for the story and would explain so much about why Sokka isn’t still around. Absolutely loving how this season is building, the intrigue I’m feeling for the villains is so fun for me and I just can’t wait to see what their ultimate goal is!!
