Is this the Darkest scene we've gotten from Avatar!? Granted the Queen was just awful but wow this whole sequence was just nuts; Zaheer's monologue managed to make the visual even better and I kind of love how you could agree with him doing this.

Zaheers's got bars, a psychopath sure, but a poet none the least. This episode is *chefs kiss*. At this point, TLOK was airing only on the Nickelodeon website and not on the TV channel, which is why Bryko, Aaron, and Chase were able to get away with an on screen death. Nickelodeon repeatedly shot themselves in the foot with TLOK, but this miss-step let us see a more brutal side to bending. I want to say so much more- but no spoilers! Can't wait to chat at the end of the season. As a reminder, I'd recommend watching the last two episodes together.

The man really has a way with words 😂 This explains it! Thought they’d have to do something special to get this approved and I’m so happy they did!! Shame though that show was only airing on the website at the time, means less people would have gotten to see it but this scene definitely makes up for it. Can’t wait to find out how this will all end up and don’t worry, I’m recording the last two episodes together on Tuesday so feel free to talk all spoilery then 😂

Ohh I think I’ve heard about her, think she was the Air Nation Avatar Aang contacted when he wanted to find another way to defeat Ozai and she said she’d just do it if she was in Aang’s position. Definitely sounds super interesting so I’ll be sure to check those novels out!
