Love the development we're seeing from Bo-Katan after everything she's been through but this episode belongs to the foundlings! It's so awesome to finally get Grogu's origin and see the incredible Jedi that saved him; I misjudged Paz Vizsla but really like him after all this, plus the Covert now has pet Dragons!!

Spoiler free info: Kelleran Beq in canon is known for being a master that had the role as a teacher at the Jedi Academy. This is super meta for a few reasons: 1. The actor is known as 'Ahmed Best' and he is the actor who played & voiced Jar Jar Binks. 2. The character comes from a show where he played as Kelleran Beq, the host of Jedi Temple tv show for kids. They had kids do "jedi" themed contests and obstacle courses as a reality show. 3. They crossed over the Kelleran Beq character into the Mando show and cemented his lore as a youngling teacher into star wars lore with this episode. Note: 1. (spoiler free) You can youtube Kelleran Beq on jedi temple to see what the show was like and see him in action on that reality show. 2. The reason this is so significant is because everyone hated Jar Jar Binks when the prequel movies came out, and Ahmed Best was mercilessly harassed for the role to the point where he openly said he considered suicide. Throughout the harassment he stayed loyal to the Star Wars brand by becoming the host of the kids show under the role of Kelleran Beq. So the show runners did a huge thing to honor him by bringing his role as a Jedi into Canon. Now you fully understand. (This is the way)

"How do relationships work If they can't take their helmets off?" I imagine it would be quite awkward and/or uncomfortable 😅 Or maybe some of them are into that... 🤣🤣 Was quite nice to spend a whole episode with the Covert as every time we do see them it's always Mando dropping in & out so getting a whole day with them and getting to know them & what they get up to was quite needed, we're almost in Bo's position where she's asking questions and we're seeing how things work around here and her feeling a bit unsure. Grogu's darts scene with Ragnar was quite funny and I love the encouragement Both Din & Bo were giving to him saying "Go easy on him" "show him what you can go" I'm getting a bit of Mum & Dad vibes from Bo & Din towards Grogu now 😂😍 obviously Bo & Din aren't a thing but since you can see the little relationship between Bo & Grogu grow and given Din & Bo are definitely growing closer this season as well even if not romantically you can't help but picture the 3 of them in a family type portrait 😂 Seeing Grogu's full story on display about how he escaped the Jedi Temple was awesome and just picturing him as a defenseless baby watching his Jedi comrades die around him and clones shooting at him is horrifying enough and then Kelleran coming to his rescue & protecting him is such a relief. So yes now the Jedi Kelleran Beq has quite the interesting & unexpected history for those that knew 😂 so first off his Actor's name is "Ahmed Best" who is Jar-Jar's actor who portrayed him in the Prequels & voiced him in Clone Wars so seeing him here as Jedi was already quite funny & awesome for those of us that recognized him. But the even better part is Star Wars a few years ago now once did a Kids Reality TV Game Show called "Jedi Temple Challenge" where Kids could compete against each other in Jedi Like challenges and the Host of the show was of course Ahmed Best who was dressed up as a Jedi giving himself the persona & his own Jedi name "Master Kelleran Beq" and so for this Episode they brought him in and made his Jedi Persona an actual in-universe canon Jedi played by him which is just the greatest thing ever 😂😂 there were so many theories about who saved Grogu ever since Ahsoka said "someone took him from the Temple" but I love the subversion that the Jedi who saved Grogu wasn't a big recognizable one that most viewers would instantly know but instead was kind of a Meta character that once you learn the story behind is just so funny but amazing 😂 The Game Show's still on Youtube, I can leave the link below if you only wanna watch a few seconds to get the gist of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF8mT0RMqDA Yeah This season really Turns Paz Vizsla around for many, He may have had his rocky history in the show but seeing him here as a big old Daddy (that sounds weird 🤣) knowing there's this side of him is quite wholesome lol, Just like Din he's got his own Child to protect and I'm sure going forward he'll be forever grateful to Din Djarin and probably even Bo as well as she really helped too. Yeah as of right now Din's definitely taken a little bit of a backseat, I kind of see him right now as Bo's Support given the scenes they shared this episode she's definitely clinging to him currently, but hopefully going forward he gets more chances to shine on his own. Given where this Episode's left off it'll be interesting to see where things pick up from here given we're about to get into the second half of the season! Lastly a bit unrelated since Tales of Underworld released 😂 just curious as to when those reactions might be lol, since they're animated shorts maybe you could watch them when you finish this season as a Bridge before you jump into the next Live Action show if it is Ahsoka, or maybe even between Ahsoka & Andor

Oh this is so amazing!! It’s so awful that the reception to Jar Jar was this bad and that people actually took it out on the actor; it’s really quite incredible that he stayed on to do the other show after what a bad experience the first thing was and it’s so nice that he even got to carry that over into Mandalorian. His scenes were incredible and I really hope that Ahmed had a lot of fun doing it and made up for what happened before, honestly hoping he’ll come back now since they do kind of leave the door open!

That is exactly what I was starting to think 😂 😂 Really enjoyed everything this did with the covert, for so long Mando hasn’t actually felt like part of it since he either left immediately or interacted with very few; now he actually feels like on of them and kind of blends in with them. Bo’s position is so funny, she’s almost like the audience’s perspective of being introduced to new stuff, but we know the covert better than her so we can appreciate the awkwardness she must be feeling with being completely out of her element. Bo is definitely becoming Grogu’s cool aunt 😂 watching them encourage him while also telling him to go easy was so much fun and it really felt like a proud parent moment with them. It’s really good that we can see Bo’s further closeness with Mando through her relationship with Grogu, Mando and the kid are a package deal so it would just feel wrong if she formed a good relationship with one and not the other. So good to finally get to see Grogu’s origin and get a great picture of how helpless and terrified he would have been, plus it’s always generally interesting whenever more gets added to that event. The more I learn about this the more amazing it is!! The idea to use this Jedi is so awesome as someone behind the scenes clearly remembered this Kid’s show and managed to make it canon. There’s so many things to love about it from choosing not to have some big-name cameo come save Grogu but actually taking the opportunity to give the moment to an actor that didn’t have the best debut. It feels so good knowing that they made this right and I’d love to know what Ahmed thinks about the whole thing as I heard he was treated awfully by some fans but seeing how he didn’t let that get to him and actually stuck with the franchise and even managed to get this awesome moment is just so incredible. Just watched a bit of the show and it looks like so much fun 😂 almost feels like this is canon now with Kelleran showing up. I love Paz Vizsla so much after this, he’s almost challenging Mando for being the best Daddy in Star Wars 🤣 🤣 I just love that they were able to work this character so well with how much history the Vizsla’s have at being straight up jerks most of the time, so this really goes to show how much ‘The Way’ can change people for the better. It’s honestly pretty good for Mando to take the back seat for a while as the show clearly needs to give Bo-Katan that time, still thinking that Mando will come back into focus when IG-11’s plot line gets picked back up so I’m happy to wait it out. I’ll be putting a poll out tomorrow to clear this up, since so many people have been requesting Andor and Ahsoka for so long I want to just check which one will come first and then immediately be followed by the other, so Tales of The Underworld will probably be done after those two as I don’t want to make people wait any longer 🤣
