This was such a good ending to the season!! Seeing the Air Nation go against Zaheer was so satisfying but boy, Korra really went through it in this 😬 The Red Lotus really went out with a 'bang' if you know what I mean 😂 But now I can't wait to see what's in store for Season 4 with what Korra just went through.

This season was breathtaking, mind blowing, shocking, and soul crushing! 😉 This finalè is heartbreaking. Seeing the Northern Air Temple literally melt away, knowing how Aang felt about it in ATLA... watching the Avatar being poisoned- Raava trying to save Korra through the Avatar state, and Korra letting herself die by staying out of the Avatar state to protect the Avatar cycle. And the way Jinora looks EXACTLY like Aang 😭 the Tattoo ceremony always gets me. The very clear depression Korra feels at the very end. You said it: "This season asks if the world needs the Avatar". So... does it? Can you imagine how it would feel to be the Avatar in a world that doesn't need you? REMINDER: watch s4 ep2 with the captions OFF

Perfect way to sum up this season, couldn’t have put it better! So much happens in this final and it all seems so heartbreaking 😂 Watching the Northern Air Temple melt is beyond painful with everything we watch Aang go through and then finally seeing this place get new life. The Korra just WOW, the battle she was having with herself in this was amazing, actively trying to stay out of the Avatar State to save the Cycle and then trying to defend or do anything against Zaheer, she was basically treated like a punching bag until the Air Benders could step in. The final scene was so amazing, Seeing Jinora like this and seeing how much she looks like Aang felt so amazing and then the ceremony itself was so cool to finally see; then Korra at the end is so heartbreaking, her face in comparison with the joy of this ceremony is such a painful contrast and really shows that even in this moment of joy, she’s still in tremendous suffering! I think this season takes this question one step further, the Avatar even needed to be saved in this situation, while Tenzin and the President talk about how the world needs the Avatar more than ever, Korra’s just sitting there thinking about how unneeded her power is. I can’t wait to see how this question is further explored in the nest season. Good to know about the captions, I’ll make sure they’re off 😁
