This has to be my favourite episode so far! Anakin is back, and I both love and am confused about everything that happened 😂 Ahsoka going through all of this was just amazing and the perfect way to move her forward, and now everyone are on route to peridea!

oh i just remembered did you notice that when huyang is talking to carson about Jacen and Kanan they play Kanan's theme! such a nice moment. Also Carson's in that moment is playing the role of the casual viewer who hasn't seen all the animated stuff and know all of the important relationships. so he's just like "uh.. ok." everything about that scene is great. As for the Mon Mothma's call. even with Huyang's scans of the eye of Scion, all that really proves is that they built a giant hyperspace ring. which could theoretically be used to navigate to another galaxy. That doesn't show them anything. sure they found morgan but then she disappeared possibly to another galaxy where she wont bother anyone in this galaxy. more over it cost the lives of 3 new republic pilots and their x-wings. thats a high price for pretty much no return. Hera is coming off to them like a warmongering general who can't let go of the war and is seemingly inventing excuses to try to go back to war. While her attack on Xiono in episode 3 was quite satisfying it came off to them as overly emotional and combative. Mon Mothma is probably the only person on that committee that took an active role during the war. so when Hera burned Xiono she also probably burned the rest of the senate oversight committee with him. hence they were probably not feeling too generous with hera after she basically accused them of opportunism. yes what she was was 100% correct but it was very much not the politically correct approach. (and thank goodness for that the new republic despirately needs people like Hera and less people like Xiono) but they basically have nothing. Though i am curious why Hera was dealing with the senate oversight committee? that just seems like the wrong committee to be investigating this matter when this all began because of the Vespar being attacked. that doesn't exactly say oversight to me

Loved this scene, it’s such a great way to bring Kanan’s presence back with his son, loved that his theme played and Carson is the perfect way to bring a new audience into all the history. You make great points about the scan and I think I just wish it was brought up at least, it feels like there are options but I guess it makes it cleat that no matter what Hera tries, the New Republic does have good reason and reasonable doubt to not go along with what she says.

Had so much to say about this one, but never had time to jot all of my thoughts about this one. Apologies if you've covered these already: • Not only did Huyang have a sad voice, but sad eyes. Especially when he's so straight-forward with everything, to see him emotional, oh boy. • We know this is post-RotJ because when Ahsoka says that she won't fight him, Anakin says he's heard that before, referring to Luke. • There's a bit of uncertainty about whether Ahsoka and Anakin is real, but the fact that Chopper can't get a signal and yet Jacen can hear the lightsabers, informs me that it's real. • When Kanan gets name-dropped, chills and tears. • Carson kind of spoke for the audience who didn't see Rebels. "Okay. (I'll roll with it)." • Still seeing that saber flourish by Anakin, Hayden still got it. • The three places we see Ahsoka and Anakin revisit are Teth (Clone Wars movie), Ryloth (Season 1 arc) and Mandalore (Season 7 arc). • They did such a masterful job of conveying an older Ahsoka into a younger version of herself as the 40s-ish Ahsoka experiencing all of it. • On Ryloth, they portrayed something we didn't see. After losing so many pilots above Ryloth, Ahsoka had to deal with the grief of losing Clones. In the show, we transfer over to Mace and Cham and didn't see the after effects of Ahsoka reflecting (as older Ahsoka reflects on all of the Clones lost). • Hayden did a great job of portraying Clone Wars Anakin with his sense of humor as Matt Lanter conveyed. • The first Anakin/Vader silhouette was so chilling as it goes from Anakin surrounded by clones to Vader all alone. • Now on Mandalore, seeing the Ahsoka-painted helmets was so gratifying. • Seeing Vader, what that would be like if he didn't get maimed so badly, good luck to anyone trying to face him in that form. • Very interesting that in different duels on Mandalore and back in the WBW, the dark side figure attacks from the left, while the good is on the right. • When Vader goes for that death blow on Ahsoka, it's the same exact move that he attempts as on Rebels S2. • Pertaining to the Sith eyes, Ahsoka, like Anakin, had the potential to go to the dark side, but our choices makes us who we are. • Choosing to live was an allegory to letting go of the burden and guilt she felt about Anakin's turn, that she could become the kind of person she's capable of. • Finally being able to let go and being overtaken by the water was like a rebirth and a baptism into this new version of herself. • Going from grey to white, Ahsoka no longer has the reservation and guilt that kept her from training Grogu and fully committing to training Sabine. Ahsoka can now reach her fullest potential. In my personal view, she transcended a plane and was now the strongest Jedi, in the fullest spirit of the word. • The tapping into the memory from the map was something we saw back in Rebels in the episode, "Children of the Force." • Just like when she was a baby, there is nothing holding Ahsoka back as she can easily commune with the Purrgil and has that joy going forward. Needing closure in the worst way, she finally reclaimed herself. Now, there's nothing holding her back.

Seeing an emotional and grieving Huyang was something I wasn’t ready for! Ohh I figured that was referring to their previous fight when Ahsoka didn’t want to fight until she hears Vader whole speech about him killing Anakin so she’d avenge him. It has to be real, it’s far too cruel for it all to be in her head or something so even if it’s that I’m going to chose to ignore it 😂 Loved hearing Kanan’s name after all this time! Loved how they used Carson for the causal viewers, it was a great way to bring everyone up to speed. So happy to see Anakin’s saber twirl again 😂😂 Loved seeing the three Clone Wars locations, really made this feel less like Rebels season 5 and more like a culmination of both Rebels and Clone Wars. The young Ahsoka actress did such a good job and I’d honestly love to see her in a Live Action Clone Wars movie or something with Hayden! Even though Clone Wars focused on a different moment for Ahsoka dealing with losing the Clones, I love that they found another location to go over it here as it’s such a big part of her journey. Hayden was so fantastic, really goes to show how much love he has for the character when he's able to get the details form different portrayals into his performance. The Vader flash was so amazing!! Loved how they did it and that it means that this Anakin uses all the aspects of his life. Loved the detail on the Siege of Mandalore scenes, the Clones with the orange face was so beautiful to see in Live Action. This was such a terrifying taste of what the Galaxy could have faced if not for Kenobi! It’s so awesome that we even got this explored again since the only other time was when Vader was on Mustafar. Really loved all these details and references they put into the fight between the two of them, this confrontation is so meaningful on so many different levels and they captured it flawlessly. Loved what Ahsoka got from the end of this, choosing to live and accept her past and training with Anakin was so awesome and now she can finally move forward and become Ahsoka the white! Becoming Ahsoka the White truly has to make her one of the best Jedi so far! She’s already broken free of so much of the past corrupt Jedi order and now has transcended into something even better, I’m honestly not sure if she can develop any further from this point as she seems perfect!
