This finale left me with chills!! Even the dead Maarva still gets to be a Rebel, and this entire scene was simply breathtaking. It brought the season as a whole to a wonderful end, while also opening up season 2 immensely, and I cannot wait to see what's in store after all this!

What an End to the Season, Surprisingly there's not too much I can add as the Episode spoke for itself which is what Andor thrives at as we've learnt. Was nice to have a slow build up jumping around to everyone as they're getting prepared for the Funeral, and when it finally goes down, it goes up in flames metaphorically and literally lol! Maavra's Funeral was so beautiful and I know she would've been so happy with what Ferrix did, she got the send off & honour she deserved as a Rebel at heart, starting the funeral earlier than the Empire expected they work on their time not the Empire's! And her Speech hoping to Lift & Inspire people which she did, she definitely lifted me and it got Ferrix to Fight back 🔥 Brasso smacking Troopers on the head with her Ash Brick was such a Brilliant moment 🤣🤣 knowing Maavra she'd rather her remains be used to take out some imps instead of neatly placed on a stone wall and just let it sit there. But damn seeing the Empire actually open fire on the civilians like that was quite brutal 😬 and I have to give it to the show for portraying the realism there. That last shot of Luthen standing up from a higher spot before he's about to leave just looking down at the town in chaos & hearing screams was quite heavy, like he's seeing "rebellion/uprising" first hand rather than just hearing about it afar, it's definitely something he wanted though. Syril & Dedra's moment was quite funny 😂 again he saw his oppurtunity and took it! He saw the lady he probably dreams about in trouble and rushes in to save her like a shining Knight 🗡️ and because she was so overwhelmed by all the people and probably could've died of course she's pretty shaken so I understand if she probably feels quite endeared & drawn to him now. Nice going Syril you won the girl of your dreams! How Romantic 🤣🥹 it's just a shame they're both on the Empire's side 😅 Speaking of Romance.. it was nice to see Cinta & Vel kinda reconnect like that, Cinta trying to avoid eye contact and distract herself with Mission talk was quite funny you could so easily tell she was trying not to think about Vel but I'm happy Vel kinda told her to drop that crap in a nice way 😂 but damnit I need to know what happened after it cut away!! 😬 actually it's probably best if that moment stays between them hahaha 😅 Anyways I'm glad that even though this turned into chaos atleast Andor and his friends managed to get out especially Bix who I would've thrown a tantrum if they killed her off lol and hopefully they get somewhere safe. As for Andor looks like he's finally all in for the cause and working for Luthen properly, took him a while but he's finally here haha so I guess we'll see what kind of missions they get up to next Season!

Fun fact about Maarva's speech Originally they wanted her to say "Fuck the empire" but Disney asked them to change it

Looking back it actually feels like she says that! 😂 Of course Disney has to get in the way since that really would have felt a lot more powerful and visceral but now I have to wonder if they made a dubbed version or something behind the scenes just to say they did it 🤣

The end of this season was just insane; it did everything it needed to and more and now I finally get to fully appreciate why everyone was saying Andor is just in a league of its own! The way this episode built up was exceptional with how it dealt with all the characters we’ve been following and putting them in their place, ready for the main event, and then when it all kicks off it’s just beautiful and really makes you feel like you’re right there with them! I could not love Maarva more after this! This was just such an exceptional way to bring her character to a close and to bring such meaning to her death. She got to go out as a Rebel, inspiring others and putting up a fight to the Empire! She got to do everything she wanted and now she gets to rest in peace. I don’t even have the words to describe how good her speech was, the way it carried hope and lifts you up as you hear it is simply awesome! This scene was brilliant!! She got to all she wanted to do and more with Brasso using her stone to take someone down! 😂 She’s definitely happier with this than being stuck in a wall; she may be shattered to pieces but so is that Imp’s head! Watching the Empire open fire like this carried so much weight, they help back for so long by just trying to be a wall but finally caved and open fired. The realism is so frightening with how it all escalated and of course there’s nothing that the civilians can do against this force. Luthen has to have changed a lot from this outing, he’s finally gotten to witness what Hope can do for a Rebellion rather than just trying to make the Empire lash out more, and he gets to experience the weight of what people go through, he may think he carries the burden alone but this must prove than no matter what he thinks, others are still paying the price of a Rebellion. Honestly quite impressed with our boy Syril here 😂 it seems like he has a new obsession to guide him as he didn’t think twice about trying to find Andor but went straight to protecting Dedra. I kind of wish these two weren’t with the Empire as this was really quite sweet, seeing Syril rush to Dedra’s aid and helping her through the shock sets up a nice romance between them where it’s clear that they will both now mean a lot to each other. That said though Syril’s methods for meeting are still super weird and now I can’t wait to see what their relationship will look like from here since the start is so peculiar 🤣 Vel and Cinta’s relationship has to be one of the most interesting in the entire show, watching them both fight so hard for the Rebellion but then seeing how they both clearly have different priorities is sadly so realistic and shows off how they’re both very different people. But seeing them together again was quite funny with how awkward this was 🤣 🤣 Cinta just doesn’t want to deal with emotions and issues and stuff and would rather focus on work whereas Vel needs these conversations to happen, it’ll be very interesting to see where this relationship will go from here as I’d assume one of them would have to cave to the other’ the Empire’s got 5 years left so that’s either 5 years of Vel struggling to get some attention from Cinta or 5 years of Cinta having to not focus on fighting the Empire fight and foremost. The fit I would have thrown if Bix died! 😮‍💨 She has been through far too much so I am so happy Andor got her away safely and now she can get away from all this and just live and hopefully recover from what the Empire did to her. But after all this she will definitely serve as an excellent reminder of why I never want the Empire to come into power! I absolutely love that this show took Andor a whole season to finally get on board with the Rebellion, it went to show how difficult this journey was, it added such great depth to this man, all the while expertly showing the greater impact of what a Rebellion can cause, both the good and the bad. But now Andor is all in, teamed up with Luthen and I just can’t wait to see what season 2 has in store while also fearing that we’ll be getting to Rogue one and of course his 😵💀 I have become way to attached while forgetting that we know his fate so I need to desperately remind myself of that before getting too close to the end 🤣 🤣
