2022 Unreleased - White Oak Hall, Houston TX (Patreon)
Content
This is one of a handful of videos shot on tour in 2022 that haven't been seen before, having never been published or sent out to Patreon members as originally planned. Some of have been put together into longer compilations with multiple songs, others are loose songs with some bits.
This particular video was never published because of issues with the crowd, including being interrupted while trying to introduce Tomcat Disposables (it was the day of the single release if I remember correctly) by an audience member attempting to give me a diaphonized rat skeleton in a jar and shouting about how they named it after one of my rats. That bothered me, and I said something on instagram requesting that people don't interrupt the show to give me dead animals, which turned into a million far worse stories. I've heard that supposedly people threw roadkill at me on stage during this tour, which of course isn't true. But then again, what really happened is a bit stranger than fiction already, so whatever. I considered including the video of the incident, I feel some dumb urge to prove to people that when I've talked about difficult audiences it's been for valid reasons, but decided against it. That kid doesn't need what's likely an embarrassing memory published online, even if you don't see their face. I don't exactly handle it with the utmost grace anyway. It's overall a very cringe moment. I don't need to prove it, the internet is going to think what it's going to think. The ones who matter don't mind and the ones who mind don't matter, as a wise giant talking cat once said.
Anyway, we cut out the unpleasant parts so y'all could enjoy the songs. Here we've got Vampire Reference, I/Me/Myself, and It's Kind of a Lot.
