Thanks For Letting Me Share is going to be a regular thing. I don't know how often, but at least once a month. I find myself really enjoying the medium and it's nice to have an outlet for some of these thoughts.
I'm about to run out of live videos, and I'll update you soon with specifics as to what I'll be providing until I have new ones. There'll be some Q&A's, and maybe I'll get back into giving sneak peeks to things that are currently in progress, depending on how top secret those things need to be in order to pull the project off. I might try and film some stuff in my home studio, or I might go to Backroom, or I might share more art. Maybe I'll record some solo home performances of some deep cuts, covers, or rarities. The discounts will continue to be higher than they were a few months ago, and we plan to launch a second store (for rarities, signed things, tour leftovers, maybe some pins, and higher-end lower-price posters and stickers) soon that we'll offer discounts on here for as well once that's launched. I might post other types of videos. Maybe I'll set up a little video studio and I'll start doing Drew Gooden impressions.
The last of my current catalog of live videos goes up next weekend, after which it'll be a few months of lower output of them. But you'll still have access to the back catalog (depending on your tier you'll have more or less) of everything, and I'll be at least doing the podcast and Q&As. I figured I should let you all know that you won't be getting the things you signed up for for a bit, but it won't be too long before I've got my usual live videos again, and in the meantime I'll do everything I can to make sure you get enough content where you're not feeling ripped off and it matches your expectations. Please don't fall into the Patreon trap: I will not be offended nor resent you if you cancel at any time, let alone if you cancel and plan to come back. I try my best to approach this as a normal business; you pay for the product, not for my gratitude. I am grateful for the support and hope that you all stick around for these kooky months where things are gonna be possibly more sparse (but also possibly more interesting, I'm going to do my best!) but I mostly just hope you at least come back should you choose to reduce your tier.
So yeah, you'll be hearing from me soon about that. Maybe I'll do a poll.
Anyway, here's a podcast episode that much like my last one would probably work better as a Youtube video. Next one will be with Chris Dunne, I was just too inspired to not do this one next.
Altman be praised,
Will
