April 2022 Report (Patreon)

Heyo! I have been thinking of some more small video ideas to tackle during this phase of Life™, and am slightly reconsidering not putting too much worry on the next "planned" video or whatever if it is facing a mental roadblock, but in the interest of not making these reports too much about personal life babbling/ranting, I will just share some new updates on the content that's been posted on my channels lately!

Plus videos

In April, I took a look at the Nintendo DSi XL demo video cartridges! They're a very small curiosity, but it gave me the opportunity to talk about some DS titles! I don't have a lot of special demo cartridges or discs of my own, but sometime in the future I might also tackle the DS Download Station cartridges as Plus videos as well!

As for what the next Plus video will be about, here's a 100% legitimate leak: we're taking a stroll through the mainland China-exclusive online marketplace, Xianyu (a.k.a. Idlefish)!

In addition, I've uploaded archives of the core video commentary streams that I did in my Discord server back in July 2021 to the Plus channel! I did not mean to record and keep them, but thanks to one of the viewers I was able to provide these reuploads. The videos are broken down by year (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020), so next time you want to put something up in the background, here you go!

What else...I was once again able to 'reprise' my quote voice for Takashi Tezuka for The Gaming Historian's documentary on the making of Super Mario World! It was an honor for me do so again, and I highly implore you to give that video a watch!

That'll be it, I think! No fancy pickups or anything this month, just a weird transitional period back to office work and all that. Between that and thinking about the progress on the next planned video, maybe I should just work on a completely different thing YouTube-wise to revitalize my mind...it's probably the best thing to do for myself right now...ok yeah, I said to reign in the life babbling, so I'll see you next month!
