Release 9.0 finally ready... in parts 😅

I've decided to change it's number... from 8.1 to 9.0. I usually leave the first number to indicate a new main character. At first it was just going to be a release to deal with the money issue, but I decided to include extra characters so I thought it would be more coherent to update the numbering.

But there is a question! I haven't managed to do both stories yet. This release will only have one of them.

I need a bit more time to test and complete how it would look with the two stories in parallel and as I was already way behind schedule, I thought it best to release this in two parts and leave the second story for sometime in the next two weeks. Until then, it will give you time to familiarize yourselves with the new features.

In this release I introduce you to David!

David, by the way, was requested by one of Elite's sponsors. Anyone who is more observant and has a good memory will remember him.

Paul's story will be finished.

Paul and David's scenes at the modeling site will also be included in the next release

This release was one of the hardest I've ever worked on!

I underestimated how complicated it was going to be.

The most complex part was, as I said, predicting all the scenarios. There are so many of them and so many random scenes that when I solved one, I had problems with another. Then I had to go back and check everything again.

And do you know what the most ironic thing is? It's going to be the release that players will see these scenes the least.

Most of them happen when the player runs out of money, but that's something that will rarely happen. In other words, most of my work will hardly be seen by anyone.

I'm already aware that this is going to be a release that many will be disappointed with, due to the delay in making it and the “little” new content they'll get, especially those who only play on the relationship path.

But it had to be done. I needed to find a way to resolve the issue of money and what would happen if it ended.

Because I didn't have this definition, in many scenes I had to make the main character hold back on spending or limit the use of money for fear of someone running out and not having a scene ready for that.

With this issue resolved, I'll be able to be more daring in the stories, in our hunter's expenses, including routine expenses such as going to destinations (a feature I took away because of exactly this issue of not spending too much money).

In this release, players will also have access to a new area - the gentlemen's club.

In this area, as well as being able to watch auctions of “highly desirable products”, you'll also have the option of selling items from your own collection and making a lot of money from it.

I hope I've solved all the bugs, but if you find any please let me know and I'll fix them.

we all appreciate your hard work, thank you <3

Happy to see the notification ❤ must be tough that now you start to discover the algorythm holes you made when adding new features you initially didn't include in the game. Though it's quite inevitable, I hope the hustle would make future updates easier. Not to bother you too much 😂, but I want to report 2 small incidents in case you haven't found this yet. (1) when you do activity in downtown until late, the "it's going late" screen shows Hunter in the gym instead of downtown (2) early before Dale get suspended, the option to go to the psychiatrist building is there but it does nothing. I don't know if this was intended, or locking the option before Dale's session would be too complicated to program. Anyway good luck, waiting for the second half of this update ❤

Thanks! Not exactly that it was unplanned. In fact, I knew from the start that I'd have to deal with this issue, but since the game starts with a relatively large amount of money at the beginning, it wasn't something I was in a hurry to do. I even did a poll a few months ago to find out how much money the players still had, to get an idea of whether or not it was necessary to do this release about the money. Now I feel the time is right. But what really took a lot of work was to include the possibility of buying targets on the slave market. Until then, the idea was just to sell. I'll take a look at the problems you mentioned. I don't remember all the details of the story, so it's only by reviewing the code that I can understand and see how to solve them.

I really enjoyed the update. I can't wait for Paul. I hope we can get revenge on the banker someday.

Im loving David!!! Tysm!!!!

This was an amazing update, well worth the wait, thank you for your hard work! 😊❤️ The slave auction really suits my rotten taste of handsome hunks being treated like fuck-toys by older / unattractive men. It's why i loved Hunter's 1.0 appearance before the rework lol. Particularly enjoyed the scenes of David's backstory of how the Banker trapped him in his scheme. The only thing i felt that could potentially add more to this story would be a couple of scenes with the Banker and each slave we sell to him after he takes them back to his room, it'd be really hot if we could see a couple of scenes of the old Banker's private lessons with each of our slaves - just like in David's backstory. 😈

Daily Adventures of a Male's Hunter

I thought about this idea but then I realized I'd be creating a monster. 😅 The point is that from now on every new story I create with a new target I'll have to do these extra scenes, both of him being bought and then with his auction. That alone will force me to dedicate extra time to each new story. And there are still dozens of potential targets waiting to have their stories told. So imagine if for each of these new targets I had to do scenes with them having sex with the banker, in addition to the scenes of the purchase and the auction. At some point I'd be taking up more time doing these obligatory scenes (of the website, the auction and other themes I'll be introducing soon) than telling the stories. And these scenes are optional for the player. Only those who are following the slave path and decide to sell any of them would see them. A lot of work but not knowing if so many would see it

I really want to like the new update... but it leaves me with very mixed feelings. Positive: David, Paul... and Ulysses. Also positive: I absolutely HATE Mr. Harold. Neutral: David and Paul (probably) are bought not hunted... and are "damaged goods" from the start. Negative: the new source of income is prostitution - as a pimp or as a prostitute (or like Nick/Isaiah)!? Negative: Mr. Harold's proposal to the MC is insulting - he earns 20,000+ credits per slave for a few hours in his auctions but offers the MC meager 2,000 credits for a day (I get it - it's to keep the income low but the discrepancy is overwhelming). Negative: The business model! Are provisions planned for the "sold" slaves? Otherwise the one time payment is too low compared to the bidding amounts. Mr. Harold has earned back the one time payment within 3 days... and relationship players have the whopping amount of ONE slave - so after 3 auctions they are already in the negative (or close to negative). i really would have preffered the steady income originating from the photo studio (license fees... whatever) and not from sex trafficking. Currently I can't bring me to finish the update.

Thank you for the update! Any idea about how to spend a lot of our money? I’m quite curious for the scene when the money runs out 😅

Helium

Finally David, the guy from the intro joins the cast :) I've wanted him since I first saw him! Can't wait to see Paul's story and many others! I would kinda also want to see what happens to the solved slaves that are auctioned: wanna see what my guys had to do.

Helium

Also, the scenes where Hunter submits to Harold are really hot and fun to watch! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Mustached

I think we cant spend the nigjt with david in the romance route. Is that correct?

Helium

Yeah, although I would also love to see these scene, I definitely prefer to see new targets and stories.

Daily Adventures of a Male's Hunter

From now on, I'm going to start creating various options for spending money. I just hadn't done it yet because I didn't have that release from the bank ready.

Daily Adventures of a Male's Hunter

As I imagined... this release would not please everyone... precisely because it is more focused on the slave's path. I included the possibility for players who prefer a more romantic approach to save David and Paul from Mr. Harold's clutches. And for that, the player doesn't need to sell anyone, nor does he need to have any slaves. He can even deceive Mr. Harold with the promise of finding new slaves, buy David and Paul, and leave the club with no one for sale. This is the ideal approach for those who follow the game on the relationship path. As for the difference in values, I thought a lot about it... I didn't want the player to sell the slaves for too high a price because then the player could quickly have millions in cash, which would make the game less challenging. I also didn't want the bids at the auction to be too low, precisely so that the player would think carefully about whether it was worth spending or not. If it were low, it wouldn't bring that feeling of “is it worth it?” In the end, I decided on these values to try to maintain this balance... and also remembering that Mr. Harold is a banker, and I believe it is a worldwide consensus that bankers are like that. They only do business that is very profitable for them. They don't care about being fair or not.

Mummf

I still can't continue the slave path (I collect - I don't share)... and it makes me bodily unwell at the moment (the sex trafficking part, even if I don't sell myself - completly a "me problem"). But I have meanwhile finished David on the relationship path - with some kind of grim satisfaction... and will love to "rob" Mr. Harold of his last "asset" Paul (please let it be the fault of his wife, that he is in his current situation) in the future... and Ulysses - I totally want Ulysses. A new side aspect of the game could be: preventing attractive men to fall prey to Mr. Harold... by having them collected by the MC. That the bank account takes a steep hit without the slave trade is still a problem though. There will be a incredible wealth difference between slave traders and "the others"

Albert Yu

Thank you so much for all your hard work! I haven't started playing the new version yet. Before I start I would like to ask after selling a slave does this slave disappear?

Daily Adventures of a Male's Hunter

No. At first, I had this idea of creating this option... but then I thought about all the chaos it would cause to program it. I would have to rewrite all the stories of all the slaves with an ending where they would no longer be slaves... and all that for an option that I imagine few would use. So I decided that the “sale” in this case would be more like sharing the slave. They go to Harold's club but still remain on the player's list.

Albert Yu

I like the decision! I would feel like everything I've done before was for nothing if my slaves disappeared from my list.
