Continuing with the details about the new scenes and features that will be included in the next release, today I’m going to talk about Bernard.
Bernard, also known as Bear_d on social media, is a controversial character.
I’ve received lots of messages asking for more scenes with him, saying they love his style and his fetishes… while I’ve also received messages from players saying he’s an annoying character, that they don’t want to see their beautiful targets being molested by a sadistic pervert.
Oh boy! What do I do? 🤷♂️
In any case, I think Bernard is an important supporting character because he represents a side of sexual fantasies that our Hunter doesn’t feel comfortable acting out.
Our Hunter gets attached to his men, falls in love with them, and treats them with tenderness even when he’s leading them down the path of slavery. He might even be a bit of a tough guy, dominant… but he doesn’t like to hit or hurt his men.
Bernard, on the other hand, has a less romantic and more dominant profile. He sees men as objects for him to play with—and they’ll obey him, by hook or by crook.
But there will be moments and characters in the game who won’t be easily won over… I have a few stories in development where the target will need a “slightly tougher incentive” to accept their new role and relationship with the Hunter.
And that’s where Bernard comes in… If our Hunter isn’t cut out for that, Bear_d is.
So in this next release, our Hunter will deepen his partnership with Bernard, have more interactions with him, and I’ll also introduce his dungeon and show how he “tames” his slaves.
But I’ll try to make this as “optional” as possible. Whether the player doesn’t want to follow that path (at the cost of missing some extra scenes) or doesn’t want to see how things were done, just the result.
In this release, the target will be Luke. Those who’ve already played through his story will notice that, at the end, Bernard tries to capture Luke—a target he’s been pursuing for a long time—but our Hunter intervenes and prevents Luke from being tamed… well… but of course Bernard wasn’t going to give up that easily.
These scenes with Luke will be optional. You’ll be able to watch the interaction between the Hunter and Bernard, but you’ll have the option to save Luke from his clutches.
For this Bernard part of the release, I’ve already developed the entire story and created the images.
But tell me... what do you think of Bernard and the scenes with him?
