Room Girl

A friend of mine bought "Room Girl" and he let me play it on his PC. And... how do I say it... it's a little bit disappointing. The basic idea seems to be an "Adult Sims" game, what isn't bad, but they messed it up :( 

In the game, you have a map with different locations. Now you can put some characters in this places and, like in the "Sims"-Series, let them interact with each other. The player is the "god" of the game world. But a god with very limited opportunities.

Interaction

Only the characters within a location can interact with each other. For example: the office guy can date his female coworkers, but not the characters from the seminar building. If you send two characters from different locations to the park, you'll see them sitting on the tables there, but you cannot start a conversation.

Why? Isn't that the purpose of this game? I hope, Illusion itself or a genius modder will fix this.

"I already saw this on AIS / HS2..."

A lot of things where taken from older games, i.e. clothing and accessoires. That's not that bad, because there's some nice stuff that we can use again, but something new or improved would be nice. Mods will change this? Hmm... and here is the big problem:

Modding

Making new stuff for RG seems to be easy, because it's pretty similar to older games, but implement them to RG doesn't work in the way it works for HS2 / AIS. It seems, that all the basic plugins must made from scratch. I hope, there will be some developers and genius programmers who will make that happen... 

Conclusion

With the actual state of the game, I will not buy it. 55 USD (DLSite) is too much for a game that feels so unfinished. If there's a "Sale" or future updates, which fix all the missing things or expand the game, I'll have a look on it again. Also if someone finds out how to mod the game without hardmodding.
