Hi all,

Animation is hell.

Here are some shots from the club, featuring Blight, Tabitha, Lux, Amelia (the winner of the poll), and... someone else?

Lilith's Den of Sinners plays a very small role in the game's first episode, but becomes more important in the ensuing chapters. I felt it was important to flesh this setting out and really make it feel like a community, especially given its proximity to The Pack. There are employees that are part of The Pack, sympathetic to The Pack, or completely indifferent to them, but regardless, they're under the gang's protection (and vice versa).

In addition, here is the Pulse syllabus. This is a list of movies, games, shows, comics (what is a book) that I was thinking about while creating the game. Maybe it can give you an idea of what you're in for, or maybe it'll look scatterbrained and incoherent.

It's cool to see Transistor mentioned, that game is a gem and kinda overlooked nowadays considering all the Hades fame Supergiant have now. I played all of the games on the list actually, with the exception of MGS (I know, I know, I will play the remake that will eventually happen.) I also expected to see Life is Strange there, your game always makes me think of that - the first game was my jam. But Arcane also makes a lot of sense. Telltale's The Walking Dead is basically a spiritual predecessor to the Don't Nod games like LiS anyway. The Last Wish is nice and surprising to see as well, the movie told a heartfelt and mature story, while still being family friendly. The animation style itself was inspired by Into the Spiderverse for sure though, which is great to see, since those are also really good.

I've played almost all of the games on that list, except for Persona (I assume you mean the original Persona 1?). I have played Persona 4, but I haven't had time to try the others yet. It's worth mentioning that several of the games on that list aren't in the same genre and have nothing to do with each other. What will come of all this mixing? 😁👍.
