The work of updating the mods for version 6.1 of GI is complete. 🤗

It took some time to update all the mods so that they were ready to play again, but it was something that inevitably had to be done. Let's hope that there won't be any major changes in the near future, or at least that they will be easier to fix. 😅

The mods are almost ready to return to normal, and some of the minor bugs that still exist in the mods may be fixed with future updates from OrFix or some other tool through XXMI's automatic updates, so for now, this is the new information for updating the mods.

Almost all characters that use my mods will need to be updated, as there are many things that have changed within the game, some of them very small and others a little more complex, so you will have alternatives for updating. 😄

In this case, I think it is easier to give a list of the characters that do not need to be updated, which are: Ineffa, Escoffier, Mizuki, LanYan, Chasca, Xianyun, Navia, and Dehya.

All of these characters do not need to be updated, as the issues they have will be resolved with future automatic updates (minor issues such as character reflections, some materials, and in the specific case of Navia's ultimate).

All other characters must be updated if you want to return them to normal, as they have more significant issues such as yellow, blue, or green models, poor application of textures on the body and face models, and correction of the “NightSoul” effect textures for Natlan characters.

To update all the characters, I will give you three options, and you can choose the one that suits you best. 😊

Re-download all the mods that need updating (almost all of them XD).

As on other occasions, this will be the easiest method for you, since you don't have to do anything out of the ordinary. It is also the method I would recommend if you don't have any knowledge of how mods work or if you don't want to spend a lot of time on it.

Update the mods with the executable file or using the script.

If you plan to use this tool, I highly recommend backing up your mods.

It is mainly useful for older characters (characters before Sumeru). This is a community tool that is still in development, and each update is being improved to achieve better results. Since the last time I used it, it has received many updates and the results can vary. It is almost certain that not all mods will be fixed, as many mods have different ranges of customization. I would recommend using it only for older characters.

You can find the tool and the guide for its use at the following link: https://gamebanana.com/tools/16472

Manual update.

This may take the longest and requires knowledge of how mods work. Here is the manual mod update guide: https://gamebanana.com/news/21936Some character issues will not be resolved by using the guide alone, so you will need to have more knowledge of how mods work.

Once you update the mods using any of the three methods above, all that's left to do is wait for minor issues such as reflections and materials to be fixed with automatic updates. 😅I will continue to monitor the situation in case more changes occur.

I did my best to update all the mods manually and avoid as many errors as I could and return the mods to an enjoyable state. If you find any problems that could be considered major or important, please let me know and I will try to fix them as quickly as possible.

Also, if you have any problems, you can check the simple guide to make sure you are using the mods properly: https://www.patreon.com/posts/131738052

I think this is also a good time to remind you that I update the mods I create, but all these updates are thanks to the community and the developers of the main tools and guides for using mods within GI and ZZZ, so I invite you to support them if you have the opportunity or interest.

Thank you so much! This is a big project. Thank you for repairing them! I hope Genshin won't have such a big update again, and the new game mode of this update is not interesting. Thank you again for your hard work!

RollAct

Thank you for your kind comments as always, Changrun Liu. 🥰 Yes, the new game mode they added caused a lot of problems. Let's hope it doesn't happen too often. 😅

DAZHONGW

Thank you for your hard work

yokomakisama

Thank you SO much and much appreciation. Now, if only the rest of the mod community would follow suit. -.^

RollAct

Thank you, yokomakisama. 🥰 Everything is quite chaotic at the moment, so it's a bit complicated. 😅 I'll continue updating the mods if necessary and if I have the knowledge. 😊

Matthew

Thank you for your hard work! I did want to let you know that it appears the Skirk variety mod with pubes still has a small issue. In her 'normal' form her eyes are blank white. Once you use her skill they fix themselves, but are then white again once the skill runs out.

RollAct

Hi, Matthew. 🤗 I've been trying to replicate the error you describe with Skirk, but I haven't been able to see it. 🤔 However, I've optimized Skirk's mods a bit so that they handle eye textures better, and I hope this solves the problem you're having. You can re-download the mod and see if the problem has disappeared. 😊

Matthew

Well, whatever you did worked! Thank you very much.

Gero-Draws

hello, does anyone know why the character mods its green ¡

RollAct

Hi, Gerardo. 🤗 As the guide says, if most of your mods appear green, yellow, or blue, you need to re-download them or use one of the alternatives to update them, since GI update 6.1 changed many things again for the mods to work properly, but all the mods I've made are completely up to date and ready to use. 😊

Gero-Draws

thank you so much for ur attention, i will download all again

Lawliet.

You know what work around i need to do if it says genshin after a while, "ilegal tool detected" using xxmi launcher? Thanks 😊

RollAct

Hi, Lawliet. 🤗 Yes, but it can be very problematic, and in some cases, it has been reported that this problem persists even after trying to fix it. 🤔 -The first recommendation I could give you is to see if using the method in the comments in the following post solves the problem (some say it worked for them): https://gamebanana.com/questions/91712 -The second is the most effective, but it means you have to stop using XXMI and only use GIMI as you did in the past, using XXMI only to update the tools. The following article explains how to do this: https://gamebanana.com/tuts/19132 -The last one, which I've seen many people say works (including me), is to update your computer's operating system, since for some reason Hoyo's anti-cheat works differently with different types of operating systems (for example, switching from Windows 10 to 11). I can tell you that this happened to me and this last method was the one that solved the problem. To be honest, this is a very annoying problem that not everyone has, and unfortunately, there is no guarantee that any of these methods will work, since this whole problem is due to Hoyo trying to block everyone who tries to cheat in Stygian Onslaught. So we can only hope that they decide to tone down their aggressiveness or, alternatively, wait for the XXMI developers to come up with a solution that doesn't put anyone at risk. I hope some of these recommendations are helpful to you, Lawliet. 😊
