ICE wears the bandanas to keep from being doxed, which would endanger their families. Also, my one complaint about this show is the way it wears its fucking politics on its sleeve. Want to have a character who doesn't like ICE? Fine. But maybe have another character who supports ICE, maybe because that character became a *legal* immigrant by following the rules and who doesn't like *illegal* immigrants because they skipped the line.

Yes, all patients have the right to emergency care and then -- if undocumented (illegal) -- to be immediately deported to their country of origin.

No phone call until you're processed is true for anyone who gets arrested. You get a phone call from jail, not while you're with the cops. This show is so manipulative.

ICE is Law Enforcement. The nurse who got arrested is guilty of obstruction of justice, no different than if someone tried to stop any cop from taking a suspect into custody. Also, what absolute gaslighting bullshit that whole scene was.

They said 15 people left the ER waiting room when ICE showed up. Think about how much less crowded and less busy our ERs would be if all illegals were deported to their home countries.

All illegals in the US have the option to self-deport. If they turn themselves into ICE they get deported to their country of origin, are given $1,000 and then have the right to follow the legal immigration procedures to come here the right way. But if they're forcibly deported then they're never allowed back.
