Here’s some fun facts for this one: the actor that plays Hot Dog is Edward James Olmos’ son in real life, I think this was the first thing they ever acted together in and he never did anything else after this, if I remember correctly. The actor that plays Chuckles is the one who plays Curtis and Prax on the expanse. As far as the scene with Starbuck and Adama, Katee Sackhoff, AKA Starbuck, has attributed this scene as one of the most influential learning experiences she’s ever had. Edward James Olmos had to take her to the side to really pull this emotion from her. She was still pretty new to acting and BSG was her biggest role during this time so she grew the most of her acting skills from this show and she considers the older generation on this show, some of her biggest mentors. She is still REALLY close to almost every one on this show, which is why she’s going to to be having some of them reacting to the show (starting with season 2) with her and her husband as they finally watch the show in full for the first time.
