The Nox are my absolute favorite alien species that we meet. I love their way of thinking. The SG team went in there, got themselves killed, and they still acted like the Nox were dumber and below them. They judged a book by its cover. It’s one of the biggest flaws of humanity, we think we’re better than all other species. And I have to say, I hate when they act like everything they say is supposed to be just accepted. Yes, they have rules and mandates when they go to a new planet, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that they are on foreign soil. They should be deferring to whatever civilization lives there. Had the team just followed the Nox’s orders and stayed put, everyone would have been safe and they would have been on their way back to earth. Instead they went completely against what the Nox asked them to do and almost got them killed, which lead to all of them being sent away anyway and they blocked our access to ever learn from them.
