My perspective, the Inhumans think of themselves the same way some people treat their religion. They see an individual act or an event and try to attach some divine purpose to it,when in reality it's just the way a particular circumstance played itself out.Lash basically appointed himself judge,jury,and executioner of any Inhuman he deemed unworthy. He spared,and ultimately saved,Daisy because he had a personal connection with her.Andrew did not completely disappear when he changed into Lash.It was already established that Andrew understood and agreed with Lash's actions,so I tend to think that Talbot's nickname for him,"Rasta Hulk" is pretty accurate. Lash was just Andrew without the limitations of a human body.
