Fun fact---in the ending scene where Matt was in the boxing gym, they pan over to a poster on the wall promoting a fight between Matt's father and Carl Creel. Yes, THAT Carl Creel.

Matt's dad was Battlin' Jack Murdock. He once fought (and lost to) Carl "Crusher" Creel, aka The Absorbing Man who we met in season two of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. You get a glimpse of an old "CREEL vs MURDOCK" poster on the wall of the gym at the end of the episode.

Another fun fact--in the Daredevil movie, Foggy Nelson was played by Jon Favreau. I guess he learned a lot about how not to make a superhero movie from working on that one.

Yeah, he let the devil out there a bit, didn't he? And yes, one of the great things about this show is the amazing fight choreography. The lack of it is one of the reasons the Marvel Netflix show "The Punisher" failed.

Yes. "The Incident" is the Battle of New York in the Avengers. That's why there's so much construction going on. Lots of rebuilding. And the mob loves government funded construction contracts.

Matt is amazing. No super strength or super speed or super healing. Just a really well trained fighter with his dad's ability to take a punch, combined with tremendously enhanced senses. And lots of Catholic guilt.

Yes, in Pulp Fiction Bruce Willis' character was supposed to "go down in the 5th". Instead he won (and bet huge on himself) which is why Marcellus Wallace wanted to kill him.

OMG this is such a surprise!!! I absolutely adore Daredevil as someone who isn’t a big MCU/DC comic fan. I haven’t seen it in so long but I can’t wait to watch this reaction. Out of all the Netflix Marvel shows this is consistently great, arguably gets better. Thank you! I hope you enjoy this.
