Some outstanding performances in this episode.

I love this episode (It's awful and heartbreaking) but man is it good!

Suzanne Hunt

The Gravedigger ! The first serial killer who has lasting effects on more than one member of the team! I really love this episode! The stakes are life and death!

Brennan and Cam are the only team members that don't know that Hodgins is wealthy. Angela and Booth found out from Zach in the first season ! Angela wouldn't have been surprised by Jack's wealth!

Finally, we get to The Gravedigger 😬

This was the episode that had me knowing I was totally invested for the whole run. I'd already brought the first 7 seasons as one massive boxset as it was, so it was good job really. This was before streaming services were what they are now obviously. Considering I brought it with little to no knowledge of the show, having never seen a single episode. I just knew I loved cop procedural shows with a hook. I'd already fallen in love with the show, but this fully validated my investment. I just marathoned my way through in no time with one really good to totally awesome episode after another. I used to rewatch it all the time. It'd been a few years since I've rewatched it. So this is really fun to see someone see these great episode for the first time. Lots of absolute belters to come!
