Shirley saw the edited-for-in-flight-movies version of Pulp Fiction.

Annie and Troy are the couple who rob the Diner, Chang is Bruce Willis, Pierce is The Gimp, Britta is Uma Thurman, and Shirley is Sam Jackson.

Did you see how Chang came up from behind the bar like a snake. He tempted him like the biblical snake in the garden of eden.

Side note: The season 2 finale is a two parter. It'd be really cool if you did them together.

I love this episode so much. A lot is said that I really understand and that's great for me. It's nice to feel someone can understand things in the same way I do, even if it's just words written by a writer of fiction, spoken by an actor playing a fictional character in a fictional TV show, playing a fictional character in a fictional movie about a fictional real conversation. [that just hurt my head but I think I got it right] On one of the live streams on Chang's YouTube channel, Jeff said this was his favourite episode. I have to use the Community character names, sorry about that. It's one of my favourite episodes as well. It's directed by Richard Ayoade, which makes it a cool episode by default lol. The whole cast said how much they genuinely loved working with him. That made me happy.
