WERE PLANNING A JUNE WEDDING

I explain why I'm watching this in the intro

Malu x

I was literally gonna comment on the last video to finish up TVD first so that you don't get spoiled. This is such a good idea. as much as I’m crazy excited and looking forward to TO5, I’m okay with waiting if it means spoiler free watching experience. I LOVED everything you spoke about in the intro, as much as to me personally writers butchered TVD, its characters and development as much as they could, it was still my first long term series ever and it still left a huge emptiness after it ended. good words about the characters as well, I never understood people's love for some of the characters and I may not still, but it's a fact that sometimes you just connect and relate so it does make a lot of sense. for me it was Stefan as well. I couldn’t relate to him in all of the aspects, just some, but I think his case for me was mostly that he struggled so much and was never appreciated or loved like he did for everyone. As much as I don't like comparing fiction to reality, one of my things while watching stuff is putting myself in characters' shoes and it was never an easy thing when it came to him. I just always felt like he was left out, pushed away or even stepped on so many times. I remember I even fully went on loving Katherine with him if it meant someone finally and genuinely loving him. so many memories lol. Then there’s Steroline lmao. So, here’s the thing. I am, as of now, very happy and content with the couple as they are. But all the things thar are right now are not really outweighing stuff that I honestly don’t see. Which are too important. One, love, two, their development, three, the way they were. I was never too hung up on Stelena, to the point where I actually loved Stefan finally loving other people besides her. But that’s the thing. I saw the love between him and Elena, him and Valerie, him and even Bekah, I just honest to god don’t see none of that with these two. Caroline loving Stefan?? Oh, ABSOLUTELY. I knew she was in love with him ever since day one. Stefan tho? I didn’t see him in love with her back then and I don’t see it now, and it’s such a struggle every time I rewatch his episode cause I just wanna be happy with their moment. And I am, but then I remember how for three seasons people pressured Stefan into loving someone he wasn’t in love with back. People were literally like: the girl loves you, why don’t you love her back, you’re a bad person. and every time Stefan was like: what? Haha,, Honestly? Just bad writing is what I blame, the Elena’s gone we need to put him up with someone, but well… but here we are today and even tho all I saw was Stefan getting pushed onto Caroline without his own free will last couple seasons, I hereby declare that these last episodes made me love them and their dynamic cause they do remind me own their old selves (my favorite best friend duo, being best friends is what I loved about them) supporting each other as much as they can. And I do think Stefan genuinely wanted to marry a woman who loves him and supports him. Don’t we all fall in love with people like that around us? Happy for both the characters. I loved what you said about these two as well. looking forward to the finale!! thank you!
