⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE 7/15/2026: This mod has been updated to support the latest game version. You must redownload and reinstall the files. Using previous files with the new game update will cause your game to fail to launch.

Here's the next update: Central Real-Life Traffic Mod v2.7 for GTA 5 Legacy!

This version focuses heavily on a highly immersive audio experience, introducing over 50 new realistic vehicle sounds in collaboration with Streiter_V12. We've also completely rewritten the handling and meta files across the board to resolve incorrect center of mass and acceleration issues, drastically improving your overall driving feel and control.

We’ve also dedicated a lot of time to enhancing traffic aesthetics and variety - adding 11 new trailers with real liveries to CentralPlus, upgrading police cars with high-quality 2k liveries, replacing multiple older trailer and tanker liveries, and assigning real vehicle names to cars that were missing them. As always, everything is tested and confirmed working perfectly with the latest version of LSPDFR.

Please make sure you carefully follow the ReadMe file. The mod was extensively tested on different PC specs and installed by people with zero modding experience, and it worked perfectly! Crashes usually happen if a required adjuster is missing or an outdated mod is conflicting.

hi i installed and when i try to load with rage plugin hook the whole game crashes before it finishes loading could this be because of the amount of cars being addied on top of all my plugins as i would really like to use this mod but cant until i sort this issue any help would be grewatly appreciated

Hi there. I download this LSPDFR mod and use the option to uninstall the police vehicles so I can use my own; however, after using the .oiv file, the game crashes and won't launch. Everything works fine when I use the mod without uninstalling the police vehicles. Thanks a lot for this mod—it's amazing—but I’d really love to drive ELS vehicles.

Theoretically, you don't have to uninstall the previous version. You can install v2.7 on top of previous one, and everything should work fine

Hi, I have been encountering a strange problem, but first let me thank you for your work. I've been using your mod and I'm loving it. You are doing a great job with every update and i hope you can implent more and more ideas into it. Keep it up until GTA VI is here please hahah Now, I'm using your mod together with Chromatix, but i noticed something weird. I have two scenarios: 1) If I first install your mod and then Chromatix, everything seems to work fine except for the police cars' emergency lights (actually not all of them, the crown victoria and the bike still work fine). 2) If instead I first install Chromatix and then Central Traffic (as you suggested to do for QuantV to other users), police cars' emergency lights are fine, but almost all the normal traffic cars have a weird phenomenon regarding their lights: their tailight (and sometimes headlight) have a sort of overlay of light source on top of the normal braking light which appears as a blooming dot not really aligned with the design of the specific car tailight/headlight. By temporarily deleting both mods, I noticed that the overlaying blooming dots correspond to their vanilla car design on which their modded version are based on. It's as if in the second case, which should be the correct order of installation of the mods, the modded cars somehow retained the light source of the vanilla asset on which they are based, overlaying with the modded cars' design lights. This is particularly clear in the case of the Porsche 911 and the Comet, where the 911 have three orizontal blooming red dots (which are present on the Comet) on top of the normal tailight. I have some screenshots I can share with you to understand better what's going on. Hope you can help me either fixing the police cars in the first scenario or fixing the traffic cars lights in the second! Thank you!

Game ist not starting up, just a black screen after the Rockstar logo. Installed central, central2, centralaero, centralplus, centralrims, centralso. Seems to be the openIV.asi, if i remove it the game starts.

The Fact I have an RTX 5080 SUPER and all the required files such as heap, package, and resource, says so much about this mod... Giving people false information about the fixes is whats stupid. Yall this mod is a scam dont get it litereally will Break your game. if yalls keep crashing just delete the 3 dlc "Central, Central2, and some other central name" if it still crashing delete your mods folder and redo all your other mods. Been trying to install this mod (while following along the .html inside the download files) and had no luck so far. Even a fresh steam install of the latest release & using the latest version of central, the game still crashes. I make it all the way to the "Loading story mode.. 🌀 " part of the main menu but after a few tip screens, it crashes.. I'm I doing something wrong?

How do I fix/turn down some of the vehicles audio? Some of the pickups and vans have a very loud exhaust now when driving by. Also, there are very loud overhead plane sounds (i believe when there is a plane somewhere up high overhead), it sounds like its right next to me and about to crash.

Hi! Great work on Central Real-Life Traffic. I noticed that every Audi RS7 spawned in traffic has the white reverse lights permanently illuminated, even while driving forward or standing still. Is this normal, or is it a known issue with the RS7 model? Thanks!

is there a discord i can reach you at. mod worked as intended but need to remove because I'm losing to many frames and my nexus MDT is lowering the frames even more with it. i used the uninstaller but now the game crashes after loading into story mode.

Installed great with zero issues! Is there a way to remove the fire department replacements? I had custom firetrucks and ambulances that no longer work that I'd like to keep in game. The optional ignore police vehicles only dealt with police as expected

cars look great, but i have tried the fix included and just about every other one i can find on the internet for the taxi sign/bus sign being bright as the sun. Strange thing is the addon taxis that have signs arent overly bright. any other fixes? One fix I found sort of fixed the taxis but the buses turned different colors and switched between colors (in game). I am using QuantV and Reshade....

So I finally managed to find a fix got those whose game didn’t pass after the story mode loading screen. Just make sure to have installed NVE mod, than it will work with no issues (at least that’s how it worked for me)

If you reading this, probably your mods folder and game are destroyed by this mod but I am here to save you mate Firstly, although there's a wide variety of cars, the game spawns literally 3-4 models, and sometimes 5-6 identical cars in a row! There were 8 Chevrolet Cruzes parked in the city. Furthermore, the sounds of some cars are simply outrageous and loud, and if a particularly noisy car (like a Chevrolet Tahoe) spawns in a stream of cars, every other one, the farting sound never stops and makes you press Alt/F4. FURTHELESSLY, THE MOD CANNOT BE REMOVED PROPERLY. IT WILL DESTROY YOUR GAME AND DEVELOPER DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THIS (have read like all the posts and comments) Yes, there is an uninstaller for the main mod, but it doesn't work! This makes it impossible to launch the game without this add-on I regret downloading this mod and paying the money TO MANUAL UNINSTAL 1. Install again 1st part and 2nd part again if you have deleted it (we need the gameconfig file from this mod to stay) 2. via open IV RETURN ORIGINAL FILES TO MODS FOLDER in update/update rpf : x64\levels\gta5\popgroups.ymt common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta common\data\handling.meta common\data\ai\vehiclemodelsets.meta x64\data\carcols.ymt x64\data\carvariations.ymt in update/update rpf/dlcpatch : just revert original mpbusiness, mpbusiness2, mpheist, mphipster, mpluxe2, spupgrade 3. DELETE mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\central mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\central2 mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\centralso mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\centralplus (if you have it) mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\centralaero (if you have it) mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\centralrims (if you have it) 4. Go to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml edit it and delete any thing connected with central (you can leave centralenv and centralenv2 .Those are environment mod from this author and it is good) 5. Start Open IV and go to your dlcpacks. Vehicles are in the central and central2 folders within dlcpacks. From there you can find the vehicle.rpf folders and delete the yft and ydt files to whatever vehicles you dont want to replace.

I want to enjoy this traffic mod. I really do. However, no matter what I do, the game keeps giving me an "out of memory" error even with the adjusters I had to install for this mod. I have 64GB of RAM, 8GB of VRAM, 3TB of SSD and an NVIDIA 4070. I did everything that I could think of to try and combat this issue but to no avail, I hope that you guys can help me out with this so I can enjoy this mod properly.
