Behind this illustration lies a delightful story. The owner of Chez Lulu had liked one of my works on Instagram, piquing my curiosity due to the name of her account, Chez Lulu. It turned out to be a charming little restaurant in Aix-en-Provence. Without her knowing, I replicated it and surprised her with the painting. We engaged in a pleasant exchange: she received the illustration, and I will be treated to a delicious lunch at her restaurant in July when my husband and I are in the South of France. Isn't that lovely?
