Found this prompt on Tumblr thank you to  writing-prompt-s

You leave your book open on your bed as you head to the kitchen to get a bite to eat. When you come back, though, you find Lucifer himself sitting on your bed, totally immersed in your book. He hasn’t noticed you yet.

I put my book down and slid off the side of my bed. I was too hungry to go on like this. These characters would have to wait...

After making a delightful pan of nachos, I returned upstairs to my room to continue my little adventure munching on hot chips and cheese only to almost drop my lunch as I saw a figure seated on my bed. Holy shit! Oh my God!

Ironically enough that was not who was there on the bed.

Once I’d recovered myself enough to pay some attention I realized I did in fact recognize the man –the angel on my bed. Samael. Lucifer. Holy shit.

For his part the swarthy being had no idea of my arrival. He was seemingly immersed in the pages of my book!

I stood stock still nervously trying to compose my thoughts so that I could figure out what to do about this. After all, I had not expected anyone to be here least of all The Devil himself!

I had a sudden, cheeky thought: wondering how close I could get before Luci would look up or notice I had returned. I swatted the idea away –too timid to be so brave as to try.

I almost dropped the pan of nachos when Lucifer suddenly chuckled and disturbed the quiet around us. Something was amusing him about the book though –based on the expression he bore on his face. His hand which wore his infamous black ring flipped the page and he read onward, shaking his head.

Do something! I begged myself quietly. C’mon!

“Oh cheeky!” Lucifer exclaimed softly to the pages and I felt my heart thudding knowing I should make a move or risk being discovered staring.

“Nachos?” he muttered a moment later and my breath caught. “Bu—” This time he really did look up and I was surprised to see that he was also surprised to see me.

He recovered momentarily and smiled the most charming smile. “Those smell lovely. Tell me though, do people actually read this sort of dribble?” he questioned me, shaking the book.

“I- I-” I stammered, “A-angels do, apparently,” I heard myself follow up and I wanted to fade into the floor for it.

But Lucifer seemed amused. “Angels do? You call yourself one of them?”

“No,” I defended, “But you don’t?”

He raised a brow at me. “That title isn’t exactly proper for the likes of the one and only me now is it?” he countered.

“I-I dunno,” I tried to argue but lost my nerve. It seemed to me that Lucifer was one of the best angels –just a little lost and with good reason. Or so the portrayal of him I’d seen recently seemed to show.

“Come on now don’t just stand there hogging a good thing—” he carried on when I remained silent for a short while, “bring the food over here before it gets cold!”

“But I made these for me and um...”

“Well you can’t not share them now,” he responded with an almost roll of his eyes, “It would practically be a sin. They smell too good. Now come before I have to do my ‘devil face’ and command you,” he teased.

I moved forward without another word into the weirdest afternoon I would ever spend in my life.
