One Shot Wednesdays -Henry & Mac (Patreon)
Content
Sooo there's this character that I invented to interact with RaVandey's character Henry and I named mine after a Light Rail Transit station here in my city lol
Mac is about 24, a flirt, works as a bag-boy/stocking clerk at a local grocery store... He got involved making friends with the wrong guy one day and well... ANGST.
Mac's been on my mind lately so I had to write a one-shot with him and my friend's character. It might not make perfect sense to you, out of all context, but I hope you enjoy anyway :) Warning: this is heavy material- mentions of drugging someone, emotional and mental manipulation.
I used the prompt: “You know what would make me happy? If what you felt for me was actually real.” from FantasyDrabble

Mac stared at Henry as evenly as he could. He felt so tired and not just physically from the drugs Henry had kept pumping into him but also emotionally and mentally from everything he’d endured.
It hadn’t been easy realizing that Henry wasn’t this caring, flirty guy because he liked Mac. Oh, he liked him alright but not in the way that the young man had thought. Henry was a straight-up predatory creature. He liked toying with Mac and all his victims: dressing them up, making them feel good –all the while holding them in a carefully constructed gilded cage. The entire thing: going to Spain, being wined and dined, getting the new clothes and the spa treatments... all part of the game; all part of the cage that Henry held Mac inside of. Thing was: you didn’t see the bars of the cage if all you saw was the luxurious lifestyle you led inside of it.
But slowly, the curtains fell, the bright lights dimmed and those bars around Mac and the chains that bound him to Henry became oh so clear piece by piece.
Mac was angry with Henry, sure, but he was mostly angry with himself. How easily he’d let Henry sweet talk him and lure him in and how Mac threw his common-sense out of the window the second something shiny and pretty and attractive was dangled in front of him. Not literally but almost just so. It was so shallow and he was disgusted with himself.
And now, here he was unable to leave. Henry held all of the chains; he had all of the control. All Mac could do was just try and work through this all mentally and hope that if and when Henry murdered him that it would be quick and Mac wouldn’t see it coming. Because, predators in the wild never toyed with their victims and released them. Oh no, they eventually ate them alive.
“Mac, could you stop looking so sad? Aren’t you happy, hun? You’re in Spain, you’ve eaten the finest food and worn some of the most expensive clothes money can buy and just look at this room! Have you ever even seen pictures of a room so grand? I doubt it! A store-clerk like you could only dream of something like this! This is a dream come true! So why the long face?”
“Sorry didn’t realize that I wasn’t smiling. I will do better starting now,” Mac droned with a sarcastic smile from his spot on the bed, watching Henry seated some few feet from the bed staring back at him.
“Tsk, tsk Mac. That really hurts, you know? The sarcasm, the ungrateful tone... What is it going to take to make you happy, huh? Where haven’t I done enough?”
“You know what would make me happy? If what you felt for me was actually real.”
Henry smiled his oh-so-sweet smile. If Mac didn’t know any better he’d swear that smile was actually real and full of good, wholesome intentions. “Oh Mac. Silly boy. You think what I feel for you isn’t real? You’re wrong. When I have told you that I like you, I meant it every time. Perhaps you’re just confused from the wine or the–”
“Stop it!” Mac cut him off. “You’ve groomed me and wined and dined me but it’s over; I know what’s going on and you’ve had your fun. You can stop pretending now.”
Henry stood up, his expression soft and Mac would have rather that the man been frowning with murderous intent in his eye as he came forward and ran a pale finger down Mac’s cheek. “Oh Mac, it’s you who are pretending now. If you can’t see the pleasure that you give me then, well... sadly you must be blind. This is far from being over; far from being fun. D’you know it sorta feels like we’re just getting started...”
Mac hadn’t felt the needle but he felt his world going dark. It was such a sinister thing seeing Henry’s smile as he leaned in and kissed him just before everything went black.
