“Can You See Me?” -Part 2 of a Jelsa story http://trulyhopelessromantic.tumblr.com/.../can-you-see...
A recent resurgence for it came when a Disney group I'm a part of on Facebook posted one of my fav Jelsa pics:
and then I mentioned in my comments on it that I had done a sort of fic for them and people asked for the links and then asked if there was more haha so I scratched my head and said ok I'll continue on. So here's Part 3 of who knows how many parts haha enjoy and please comment!

Jack watched the lights over Arendelle flicker. It was so beautiful; like little stars here on Earth. His position from the mountains was perfect.
It wasn’t long before something was impeding his view. “What the-?”
Realizing soon what he was looking at, Jack glanced quickly at the staff in his hand that had previously been resting against the ground with his fingers curled around it and tried to understand how he could have unintentionally released a snow storm on the kingdom from way up here!
He flew down towards the village and mid flight had a sudden thought: what if it hadn’t been him at all? So he changed his plans to finding The Queen of Arendelle instead. Jack flew past many people, all of whom were confused by the snow and some frightened by the rumor that it had been Queen Elsa who had done this; sent out this curse…
“It’s not a curse!” Jack argued into thin air seeing as no one else knew he was there, “Or...or maybe it is…” He had his doubts. The young woman, The Queen, had seemed nice enough and was even quite shy. But maybe this all had been intentional. The more he heard of it, the worse things seemed.
“No it was an attack: she shot ice like spikes out!” a woman was arguing with a companion around the palace. Jack began to wonder and fear what he might have gotten himself into here in this place.
Listening further to the chatter, he understood that Queen Elsa had taken off running and he followed the direction that people had been mentioning. The water was frozen over the lake, the snow was thick in the trees and on the ground as he went by. Jack was both fascinated and intimidated by it all.
Wasn’t he chosen by The Moon to be ‘Jack Frost; the bringer of winter’? Maybe his purpose and role was misunderstood. Was this a test to see who handled the responsibilities better? Or perhaps the test had been long ago and she had been chosen in esteem able to be a part of the living world while he, Jack, was invisible and without direction and purpose…
“Get it outta your head,” he told himself though the ideas made good points which is why they concerned him so and weighed down on his heart.
And then, footprints on the mountain. Had he really flown so far already? Perhaps he ought to turn around -but then where would he go? ‘I can go anywhere’ he thought to himself in amusement and was about to fly up into the snow clouds and away from Arendelle when his gaze was caught by something in the distance. The footprints led a straight line to it: a magnificent icy fortress -no, palace tall against the mountain glimmering like diamonds despite there being only starlight and The Man in the Moon shining upon it.
Jack looked up at The Moon and his face etched with concern. “Are you...leading me there?” he asked slowly, in trepidation that what he feared might be correct. The Moon was indeed perhaps leading him with its light onward to the magnificent ice castle ahead which could only contain one other person that he knew of that would perhaps have designed and created such a thing.
Jack held his staff tighter, his knuckles paler than normal and braced himself to fly over there. What else would he find? Would Queen Elsa have harsh words with him? Would she challenge him? Was her timidness earlier all an act to have him prove his skills to her that she would now put to the test? Would he be banished from here? Was this ice palace a display of her dominance and rule over this land? Jack couldn’t help all of the thoughts that passed through his head now as he looked at the glittering architecture in the distance.
It had been so long since he’d been able to talk to anyone and have them return conversation. It had been so very long since anyone could even see him! But now, instead of being excited by the prospect of someone who could see and hear him, Jack was terrified. What he’d taken to be a good omen was now twisted into a feeling of foreboding and he braced himself for a challenge ahead.
‘Fine then’ he thought as he looked up at The Moon one last time, ‘I accept.’ Jack flew up to the palace and alighted on the last step before with a shuddering breath outward that billowed around him before dissipating, he raised his staff and knocked on the icy door.
