Announcement: Changing currency to Canadian! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share some good news!

PATREON NOW OFFERS CANADIAN DOLLARS! I have now changed my creator balance and payout currency to my local currency of Canadian dollars.

This means I’m subject to less fees when I get paid each month.

To avoid any additional conversion fees for the both of us, I suggest that those of you in Canada also change to our local currency. For those of you who would like to switch your currency you can follow these steps:

On Patreon.com, hover over your avatar in the top right of your screen.

Click Manage memberships.

Find this page, and click Edit.

Under Currency, choose your preferred currency.

Click Update to save your settings.

For those of you outside of Canada, you can also change to pay in your currency of choice (where supported: Patreon's supported currencies) which will help you avoid foreign transaction fees.

I've also updated my tier prices to reflect the change to Canadian. Those of you outside of Canada will still see the tiers listed in American or whatever your currency of choice is.

As I am on temporary hiatus at the moment from releasing new content, this change to Canadian prices may not be noticeable to Patrons right now. As I am looking to change my tiers in the next few months before coming off hiatus, this all is subject to change again but I will be contacting Patrons personally with the updated information before it goes live to give you an opportunity to decide what you'd like to commit to going forward from that point. I do not wish you to be put into a new box or remain where you are without knowing in advance and choosing your own option(s). Your guys' support means the world to me and I want the transition to be as comfortable as possible!

Thank you for your understanding on this journey everyone! If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to let me know!

Thank you for your continued support,

Brittany xoxo
