Minor Update(s): (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons Alia, Staci, Carfly, Robyn and Ra!
So I've been up to a large project behind the scenes: transferring all of my Patreon videos over on YouTube to a new channel! You see when I began this blog I just started using my personal YouTube account to upload the videos and post them here. But I've been doing some thinking and I wanted things to be separate: professional work and my own personal things in my spare time. I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner to create a Brittany Edwards, author YouTube but better late than never! Now all of the video posts here on Patreon should be updated with the new links to the new account's uploads. I've been working on this project for a few days now: YouTube's upload limit prevented me from finishing it in one day. But I'm pleased with the results. You won't notice a difference in any of the posts prior to today except that the logo of the account that hosts the videos now matches my image here and on Facebook! All one brand now! :D
I've also (speaking of brands) been working on my 'Branding Profile' questionnaire for 'Publish & Promote' who is the company doing my publication this year for 'A Promise Kept' since I won their contest! It's been an interesting experience trying to answer some of the questions that I never considered. It's difficult to fully envision yourself being a brand of its own: I've always just sort of presented myself in a certain way through this blog and Facebook and thought that was me being myself while adding a dash of professionalism. But some of the questions go further than that and it's been a rewarding but puzzling time to try and find the answers within myself! Maybe you guys can help? For example: what pain points do my pieces of work solve for you as a reader? Escapism? Exploring your own pain through the stories? Exploring something about romance in your own life through my writing? There are a ton of examples that I know I've never considered so let me know your thoughts! ^_^ And what makes me stand out? Personally I think I have a couple ideas but then again it's hard to examine that question outside of myself without actually being outside of myself haha. So if you're willing, let me know your thoughts there on those two questions ^_^ I may ask your opinion on more at a later time
Lastly though I did not previously announce it or anything I have been applying for jobs and have interviewed for only a couple. Sadly neither have panned out and as of Thursday this week I had my results from my last interview to be a tutor online which was a 'no'. I found out it was due to using too many run-on sentences and being too unclear with the 'student' in my test session. I'm a little taken aback by this all (as I'm sure you can imagine). In response to this I acknowledge that the test session itself was very new to me (I've never had to use the Socratic method on its own before; asking questions to come to an answer and not doing anything else than that) and so I feel like (in some ways) the test session was unfair due to the lack of training and guidance I was provided on how to use the method successfully and what they required of me. I also acknowledge that yes I was unclear. Because I felt out of water, so to speak; I have never been asked to only ask questions to help a student. Or maybe I misunderstood the 'test'. So yeah, I was unclear. But the run on sentences... naw bro! haha Onwards and upwards. Someone will value my talent out there!
