Tier Pricing Changes (Patreon)

Hi Patrons! How goes it?

Firstly, I wish to thank each and every one of you for your support: both monetarily and emotionally! You've been wonderful through this Patreon experience and I'm so glad to have people behind me giving me support and lifting me up. Your contributions of comments, likes, shares of my work and your pledges have been immeasurable and so gratefully received!

It is my hope that this next phase of growing my business will involve all of you and I'm excited to start expanding on existing things that are in place and to grow new features and benefits for fans and followers including you patrons! I won't give too much that I have planned away just yet, but I want to make the following announcement now as the first set of changes are coming! You will also find a private message sent out to all patrons referring to this post, and asking you to comment on what you would love to see going forward! But let's get to the point of this post:

As of March 1, 2022 I will be changing the pricing of my Patreon tiers. Some will remain the same pricing, but others will be overhauled to new rewards and new pricing.

THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENT

 The biggest announcement in this that I wish to make right now in advance is that my bottom tier "Britt's Band" for $1.50 CAD will be increasing. This is due to a couple of reasons. Mainly, processing fees. 

I wished in the past to offer a really affordable option for people to join as a Patron and thus had priced it at $1 USD when I first began and then changed my currency to Canadian when it was available which equals a little bit more. With conversion rates and processing fees, etc, offering a low tier is now not financially viable for what is being offered at that tier level.

SO WHAT WILL THE NEW PRICE BE?

I'm going to update it to $2.50 CAD and the tier will likely remain mostly the same as it is now in regards to rewards/benefits. I know there are a couple of you that are currently in this tier and you may have concerns about the increase or may wish to stay in the $1.50 CAD bracket. I did consider keeping a low bracket at that price and offering much less at that tier. But realistically, it felt moot for what would likely be offered. If people are paying their pledge, I wish it to feel fair on both ends. The best option is just to raise the lowest tier price.

WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY PLEDGE?

I will be releasing a week in advance of changing things a final breakdown of each tier that will go live on March 1st. I will also let you know which new tier(s) will only be available starting March 1st in which case, you may change your pledge to those ones any time after that. Should you wish to change your pledge to one that currently exists, you may do so before February 27th just to be safe as Patreon sometimes begins charging in advance of the 1st of the month in my experience. I do not believe you will be charged for anything for February as I currently have no plans to publish anything in the "paid for by patrons" category however to make sure you're in place going forward from here, that will be my advised deadline to change your pledge.

WHAT IF I WANT TO REMAIN IN THE TIER I'M IN? DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BY THE 1ST?

At this time, no. If you are in a tier that will be altered in price or disappearing, I will send you a private message to allow you time to switch over to the equivalent tier or to change your pledge altogether to one that best suits you.

AND IF I WISH TO CANCEL/DELETE MY PLEDGE?

Then you can easily do so and I thank you for supporting me to this point! You've been awesome! If you need help figuring out how to cancel, please contact me (or Patreon Support)!
